Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyI didn’t want leave a bad review so I a gave it 8 as a score which I think is fairley high, unfortunately I didn’t have a plasent stay. During the booking process there was the option to book a room with two single beds or a double bed, and I picked the double bad option. After my reservation I received the confirmation that my request was accomodated, unfortunately I realised at my arrival the double bed was literally two signle bed with their own individual set of sheets adjur to each other, so I wasn’t able to enjoy the idea of double bed even if I wanted. I can image why the hotel/boat would provide the option but I would notify the person booking about the limitation. Tne actual aspect that didn’t let me enjoy my stay was the air conditioning. Both of the two units, one above the bed and the other above a couch area emitted warm air, and even after repotting to reception there was nothing that they could do. I had to sleep with the window open and been on the cabin adjacent to the road the constant passing car kept me awake through out the night, so didn’t get much sleep unfortunately.
The idea of sleeping on a boat

Czech RepublicOverall our stay was really good, especially thanks to the wonderful staff. However, I would like to make a few points and recommendations: - Equipment was overall quite basic, but ok. - Paper walls - we heard everything from the hallway like walking, door slamming or toilet flushing which is really noisy on the boat. Another sounds are made by the boat itself, we also heard the cars from the street. For guests who sleep as bad as me I recommend earplugs. - We would appreciate some fresh fruit or vegetable at breakfast.
The staff was absolutely great - very friendly, professional and welcoming! - Good location, not far from the famous bridge. - Unique experience - how often can you sleep on the boat?

FranceThe only thing was that the coffee machine for breakfast could be better. But honestly, even that you can forgive during this amazing stay.
I loved it! It is a lovely little boat just outside of the old city walls -- so super close to the city center but outside enough to not have any noise during the night. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the rooms very spacious, the beds comfy. Really noting negative to say! Amazing value for money!

Turkeyeverything was good. thank you
The hotel is a boat hotel located right next to the Avignon Bridge on the canal. Despite staying on a boat, the room had all the necessary comforts. The beds were large and comfortable. With a river-view room and a seating area, it was perfect for relaxing. Additionally, there were complimentary tea and coffee offerings in the outdoor lounge areas. The reception team was extremely helpful. We also had dinner on the boat, and the food was quite delicious, with very reasonable prices. You can park your car right next to the hotel, but you may need to inform the reception and place a note in your car indicating that you are a hotel guest. As soon as you step out of the hotel, you head directly toward the walls of the Palais des Papes. The city's main center is just 600 meters away.

CanadaI don’t think the lack of parking is clearly stated. It suggests parking outside but this is misleading as you can only park there for an hour and a half. Otherwise you have to park in a parkade 20 mins walk and pay for it. Beware if you have a car.
Cool experience. Very different settling and so close to the old city.

BelgiumNothing really that could have been better. Everything was fine for us.
Very nice breakfast. We were all alone on the boat but nevertheless everything was available and organized as if the boat was full. We arrived late and even if we had a key to get in and the keys for the room was put at the reception, the guardian came to see us to ensure all was OK.

FranceThe bar facilities were a little limited but the grand piano and wind-up record player with 78's was quaint
The Boat was a little different from a hotel similarly priced but it had all, if not more facilities than expected. The girls on board were really helpful and I would recommend.

FranceIt was all great and acceptable.
The staff support was exceptional. They allowed us to move into a room facing the water instead of the noisy traffic, and while that room only had two small beds, they moved furniture around to make one whole bed for us. Some of the staff also work the nearby small ferry that crosses the Rhone and therefore know about it's daily functioning. The room was pleasant too, having a large sliding window and refurbished bathroom. They are great people, which can be rare to find in touristic Mediterranean cities.

United KingdomThe internet was a bit weak and parking is limited. Other than that the hotel and staff are great.
The hotel is close to the old town, in a nice place along the river, and the hotel is in good conditiion. We liked the dining room with all the windows looking out to the river and the breakfast was great. Very good staff and a good price were two big features of the hotel.
