Hotel is convenient located inside the old city. We drove a car and had several options to park by the hotel or outside of the city wall w a short walking distance. We decided to park by the hotel, and the host helped us park it in. The host greeted us some drinks and showed us points of interest and dining options and marked them on a map for us. The room is small but cozy.

Location was excellent - close to good restaurants, shops and tourist sites. The hosts were lovely helpful people who are professionals in hotel management in which was reflected in the quality of the amenities. Rooms were not large but super clean and well outfitted, having been recently completely renovated The size of room should not impact your stay because there is so much to do outside during the day.

Hotel Le Nautilus was located in the center of Saint-Malo. We arrived on Saturday evening but couldn't approach the hotel from the main street because vehicle traffic was blocked. After wandering around several times, we were able to enter through alleys off the main road. We experienced the notoriously narrow roads of Europe. However, since the accommodation was in the heart of Saint-Malo, our evening walk was wonderful, and we enjoyed the privilege of experiencing Saint-Malo's famous ramparts without any disturbance in the quiet early morning hours. Saint-Malo is a city with magnificent walls. Despite my limited English, Edward kindly explained the surrounding attractions in detail, marking them on a map, including Cité B (B Island). Breakfast was excellent too. They brewed a full pot of warm coffee for us, which we enjoyed with bread and milk.

An exceptional host who went out of his way to ensure that I got the most from my visit to Saint Malo. A lovely breakfast to start each day and a great location from which to stroll around the city streets, walls and beaches.

A gem in St Malo. Excellent location, superb mattress, high quality breakfast and the owner Edward is really helpful with perfect suggestions what / where to see and do and eat! Go for it! There is also a lift in case you struggle to climb stairs. The best pick in town.

As warned, the rooms are small. We packed a smaller duffel for the 2 nights and left the larger luggage in the car.

The hotel owner, Edward, was very friendly and spoke English well. He made several recommendations for restaurants that were on point. Great location, and be sure to follow his directions for parking outside the walls. We loved having the little extra bedroom for my adult daughter. Perfect for 2 individuals or a couple plus 1. Beds were very comfortable.

Edward & Aurelie were very hospitable. We arrived a long time before check-in. Edward kindly gave us some coffee & explained the best places to eat & visit. We left our luggage with them & it was waiting for us in our room. First class!

There was genuinely nothing to dislike!

Very nice modern chic decoration, with a very friendly welcome from the host - including a glass of wine! He gave us some excellent recommendations for St Malo and made us feel right at home. The room itself was immaculate, freshly decorated and very cosy. Small, as to be expected in an intramuros building. Very comfortable bed and bedding

The owners were exceptional! Aurelie went above and beyond by helping us navigate both St. Malo and Paris. She gave us many useful tips for the area. Edward helped us to communicate with out rental car agency in the area and was also very personable. Can not recommend this property enough!

Lovely hotel, beautiful decor, warm and friendly hosts. We were greeted with coffee on arrival. Rooms small but comfortable. Excellent continental breakfast. Parking fairly close by.

Great location within the old town (Intramuros) of St.Malo. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the owners were very welcoming, giving us advice on what to see, where to eat etc. A lovely breakfast too with fresh bread, cheese, yoghurt.

Lovely welcome and helpful lady when we arrived. Great location. We rushed off and didn't take breakfast but looked great and we regretted we didn't stay for it. Next time! Great location.
