“Quiet place, good value for money; it's a pity that the bed is so narrow and worn out”

- the bed was awful: small, creaky and the mattress is worn out. We slept on the floor with an additional mattress from the children's bed. The apartment would have been perfect if there would have been a good bed there, while there is enough room to place a good 2-person's bed (of 180 cm width) For Northern Europeans a bed of 140 cm is not counted as 2-person's bed. - The living room had no curtains, while there was a curtains rail at the top of the windows. There are roller blinds in the bedroom and in the living room, but for the living room it is not a good solution as the entrance to the balcony is blocked at the same time, a curtain would be more practical - no toiletry stuff, even no soap, dishwashing fluid, sponge etc for the kitchen. 1/2 roll of the toilet paper - bedsheets, towels, kitchen towels not available, you have to bring all that stuff yourself - Not much to do in Cayeau sur Mer. The place shows of former glory days
- We received instructions on how to contact the hostess, whom we contacted 1 hour before arrival at the place. She was waiting for us at the parking. Very nice lady :-) and also very responsive. - perfect balcony, good size and well furnished - above the balcony there is another balcony which gives a good shelter when it's raining. - strong internet, no issues even when video streaming. Bring your own HDMI cable with you if you want to watch movies etc on the television set in the apartment. The television has only French Channels. -the apartment is on 1st floor which we liked very much as there is no elevator - good security in the flat building: a code to get to the entrance and key for the front door. - own parking space behind a barrier - well-equipped kitchen - washing machine and dishwasher present - the location is very nice and quiet. However, if you want to enjoy laying down on the beach, you should consider taking thick mat(s)/sunbed(s) and water shoes as the beach is rocky (pebbles, no sand). Nice location for walks, thou. There is a long promenade for nature walks.
