Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandIt's a cosy, family-run hotel with prime location at the feet of the stairs leading to the sanctuary. Everything is spotlessly clean and taken care of. The bed in my room was rather soft but comfortable. There's a fantastic view from the terrace. The rooms aren't very spacious, but that's the nature of medieval buildings. Despite the owner's efforts, due to the thickness of the walls, the W-Fi connection in the room is weak, so manage your expectations. The cell connection works fine. The AC/heating/dehumidifier works great and is completely silent. There's a small parking in front of the hotel with limited capacity, but it gives you at least the possibility to drop off the luggages and park at the bottom of the hill.

CanadaWhen our host through another platform cancelled our paid reservation the day we were set to arrive in Rocamadour, we were lucky to get a room at Le Terminus de Pèlerin. Merci Geneviève for accommodating us with parking, a room right in the centre of town and with a warm and welcoming breakfast. A great terrace with breathtaking views! Merci!

United StatesThere is no parking allowed during the day close to the hotel. Cars have to be parked outside the city. It could be an inconvenience for some people, but the walk is short, and the location so unique that it wasn't really an issue for us.
The lady who checked us in was so sweet and nice. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The room was clean, and we had an amazing view from the bedroom window. Very quiet at night. Not a sound.

United KingdomParking was a it tricky because the parking outside the hotel is only available after 5.00pm and very limited. There is more parking a few 100 metres away, but again no space. It is very busy with pedestrians walking down the narrow cobbled road through the ancient town so getting to parking was a mission in itself. All understandable and couldn't be helped. We could leave our car outside hotel to unload our luggage!
Fantastic location, excellent hostess, she really did go out of her way to help us!

United KingdomToilet in the room was tiny. I’m 6ft tall and me knees were nearly touching the wall opposite to the toilet bowl!!
Fantastic view of the gorge from our terrace room. Hot air balloons flying down the gorge outside our window early each morning, with peace and quiet broken only by the sound of birdsong. Free parking right outside the hotel in the centre of town (not in peak summer season) and plenty of other car parks nearby. Excellent value for money. Genevieve the manager was super friendly and went out of her way to help when we lost our room key - interrupting a family dinner to drive back to Rocamadour to let us in!! We also enjoyed the birds of prey show at Le Rocher des Aigles.

United StatesRocamadour is far away main routes in France. There is no taxi service if you need to reach back train station (50 minutes walk otherwise). The owner helped me getting a taxi from a nearby city on my way back.

United KingdomEverything was wonderful.
The hotel was superb. We were able to park right outside the door and the location couldn't have been bettered, in the centre of the medieval town. We had two lovely rooms with a view of the valley. Breakfast was filling and the coffee wonderful. The owner and her team could not have been more helpful or friendly. I would absolutely recommend Le Terminus de Pèlerins for a stay in beautiful Rocamadour.
