Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was too hot and couldn’t turn heating down.
Water fountain to refill bottles and eco efforts. Restaurant was very good and they allowed us to have our dog by the table. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Staff were lovely.

Location and parking were good. Staff were very helpful. Bar was open later in the evening Breakfast buffet was well presented.

I have trouble sleeping with light and the curtains don’t block out that much daylight and the bed was quite hard.
The location was great, the staff was great and the room was nice.

The room was advertised with AC and the system was down (not sure it is exceptional situation). Instead we had a fan in each room. Room soundproofing is limited as we experienced for 30' at 8 am a dog continuously barking in one of the rooms close to ours. Not enjoyable wake up. Hotel has no elevator ... and no support is provided by hotel staff to carry (heavy) luggage to the floors.
Decent breakfast with good choice of diet. Swimming pool was great for children to enjoy a swim in the morning. Location is perfect for enjoying a nice sunrise luminosity in the (early) morning as the hotel is surrounded with vineyard. Reception staff is very welcoming and very supportive for arranging activities in the region and providing advises for visits.

Cramped room, but this was reflected in the price, so not a complaint.
Fine. If the weather had been warmer we might have spent time on the terrace with a book and a drink. It and the pool looked inviting.

There was a problem with the shower in our room and when I alerted staff to this they offered us another room, this was a bit inconvenient since we were only staying there for 2 nights but helpful none the less.
The hotel was pretty nice and pretty much looked like the pictures on the Booking website, although a lttle tired looking. It rained a bit when we got there and we all know everything looks great when the sun is shining. We had dinner in the hotel the first night and this was a 3 course set menu at a reasonable price. The little town Villie Morgon that the hotel sits in is a joy with a couple of little bars and a great Kebab shop, we used the bar on both nights and the people were really friendly.

The bedroom is a little compact but more than adequate for a short stay.
The hotel is very good for its location, comfort, facilities that include an outdoor pool, and superb cuisine.

Room and shower room could do with a little updating although bed was comfortable
Good value hotel with plenty of parking. In a quiet situation a short walk from the village. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

he room was tiny and the twin beds were pushed together, not really what I expected. But they also kept pushing apart so things got lost between them. Coffee could have been better. There wasn't enough parking and I had to park on the street my 2nd night.
The night we got there they were short staffed but the woman running around really had a lot of hussle and we appreciated it. The breakfast was really great. They let me keep my stroller in the office and held a case of wine in there for me for the day, which was really helpful.

Prices of the drinks in the bar are a bit steep.
Nice hotel in the beautiful surroundings of the Beaujolais. The room was OK. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel was good. We had a nice stay.
