We loved the village in this beautiful area and the atmosphere of this little hotel was great. The owner is passionate about caring for his guests and he had plenty of time to chat with everyone, providing local knowledge and useful recommendations. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Even our dog felt at home!

United KingdomBeautiful location within the gorgeous Basque country. We booked one night as part of a motorbike tour with friends through Spain and France and would have gladly stayed much longer. Phillipe was a wonderful host and very generous with his time as he helped us with a restaurant booking in a nearby village (Aldaburua was fantastic). The breakfast and setting was very charming. Highly recommend.

The host of this hotel was amazing nothing was too much trouble for him. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Would stay again

United KingdomNo nearby shops to get basics like ice & water in walking distance & only one limited restaurant nearby. No bar or room service as advertised. Bedrooms & bathroom very dated but ‘quaint’ and comfortable. Dog owners should be given rooms at back of property to save constant distraction of passers by with dogs when sat on balcony.
Fabulous picturesque location, ideal stop between Spain & Calais. Dog friendly host & great spot to walk dogs after long car journey.

United StatesThe property needs updating in the rooms but my bed was comfy and dark for sleeping.
Hospitality from the owner, Philippe and staff were first class! Consider it like a bed and breakfast, cozy and intimate! The breakfast is not to be missed. Fresh pastries, meats, cheeses, juices and a variety of breakfast items including delicious coffee and teas. Rivals any 5 star hotels’ breakfast! Parking is included.

United StatesPhillipe was wonderful! I had sent an email saying I was coming to see my fathers family village and I had some info on the family house. He sent me on a little scavenger hunt, but had done all of the work for me! he found the street that it was on, some of the history and when we got back and told him we had found it, he was thrilled! the warmest host you could ever ask for💕. He runs a wonderful property and the area is just breathtaking!💕👍
