Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe fireplace was cold in the breakfast area, and some of the logistics were confusing at first.
The breakfast was lovely, plenty of bread and coffee, a few too many sweet choices for us. It is a great location for visiting the Pont du Gard. Lots of information about the area.

SwitzerlandA mattress topper would improve the comfort of the bed.
We chose La Bastide des Pins because of its close proximity to the Pont du Gard. The river is 100 meters farther along the little road the property is located on. (Hint: coming from the freeway, when you reach the last round-about, turn right into the small road with the stop sign). Our room was small, but nicely decorated with sweet remembrances from the past: a dressmaker’s model with wide-brimmed straw hat; a framed quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s 'The Little Prince,’ “Things of importance can be seen only with the heart;” a flower pot with fresh pink flowers on the bathroom sink. In the garden in front of your room, tall trees rise over a turquoise swimming pool. The aroma of pines and nature is wonderful. Bird songs fill the air. If your hosts offer to prepare dinner, let them!!! Laurent prepared a delicate fish filet seasoned with special pesto, red rice from the Camargue, and a magnificent ragout with eggplant and other fresh vegetables. The fresh bread was good. Greens for the salad came from the garden. Laurent explained the process he used to make the black and green olives. A small glass of red wine was superb – really the best I ever had! – and cost only 3 Euro! At breakfast, the croissants were first rate, the homemade strawberry jam delicious, and the coffee very good. Your car is safe on the premises behind a gate which opens with a code. (The gate closes by itself, so don’t wait). Renovations have been completed on a two-bedroom apartment with lofts for sleeping and a complete kitchen. Elisa and Laurent are warm, friendly, open, and easy to talk to. Parking at the Pont du Gard is 9 Euro, but visiting the aqueduct is free. The aqueduct is a Must See! https://youtu.be/PTI9ndYZxVY

United KingdomWe booked it for the hot tub. When we asked they said not available. They did not excuse that for lack of water or cost of energy though and we could see it standing idle. The alternative, the pool although pretty was unheated and cold,.
Rooms were quaint and charming as was the setting. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK, bread and croissants but we had to ask for cereal and would have like fruit and yoghurt. The room was charming and bed comfy. We had a choice of pillows in the cupboard and a blanket. The curtains were just voiles but there was the option of shutters.
