Would have liked more choice of sizes of tea/coffee cups!

Within 10 - 12 minutes walk of Hendaye station very convenient on our way through to Spain and Portugal an d back. Being able to check in and leave without disturbance was great. The help yourself breakfast had all we needed to get us going for the day. Owners are very pleasant and helpful.

It was very close to the station, about 8 min walk. The room is very comfortable and we enjoyed lovely tea and breakfast in the morning. We only stayed one night as a stopover to Spain but the place invites you to stay longer.

We stayed in “the little house” in the garden. It was perfect for an overnight stay on our way to Portugal. The owners had to help us find our way in in the dark. They were very helpful and there were great provisions for breakfast. Looking forward to staying again on our way home!

Lovely house, beautiful inside, quiet, near the station, helpful hosts. Very comfortable. Very nice to be able to make my own breakfast as I had an early train. Nearby pizzeria best I’ve had for ages.

Unfortunately my boyfriend had to work and the wifi was not very good. Hopefully you don't have to work so you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

It was a bit further from the Hendaye station than we'd expected (our bad) and lugging our baggage out there was a bit of a chore. This would have been mitigated if we'd been directed to use the boardwalk along the river ... we used this to get back to the station.

The owner was friendly and helpful, the room (with ensuite shower) was pleasant. We hadn't been expecting much given it was a quick overnight stop between trains but it had a warm and friendly feel.

Nothing, all was good.

All was clean spotless (including the shared kitchen), room as seen in the pictures,instructions clear and the host was correct. There is a nice garden on the property and flowers smell amazing.

Shared bathroom and toilet. As in my earlier review, it isn't as close to the station as it claims which gave us problems walking there in the rain.

'Près de la gare d'Hendaye' was a slight misnomer, it was quite a walk from the station when carrying a heavy backpack.

The breakfast was good - a very tasty loaf of nut and fruit bread plus a range of other options. The privacy was good - a separate building in an attractive garden.

Very homely place to stay. Attention to details with cosy seating area with cushions, fresh flowers. Well equipped kitchen which was shared with 2 other rooms. The Breakfast was self service but everything was provided freshly in the kitchen: bread, Fruit and jogurts available, coffee and tea available as required. Dishwasher and washing machine oven and hob. The owner was friendly and provided lots of information via the booking app and WhatsApp. The location was good for us as we wanted to be near the station. Supermarkets close by if you want to self cater. Close to a board walk which takes you along the river and all the way to the harbour if you want a nice walk or stroll (lots of benches).

Good location for short overnight trip before getting train back to Paris for the Eurostar - only 10 mins or so walk from the train station. Antonina was a lovely, friendly host!

The toilet is seperate from the bathroom, which can be practical, but it would be preferable to have access to a small sink in the same room.

On booking, we did not realise that we would be sharing with other people. There were two steep staircases to reach the property but each had strong convenient hand rails so did not cause any problems but the property would need careful assessment before a booking made for a person with limited mobility.

Breakfast was a self-service meal with ample choice and variety of cereals, bread and fruit, tea and coffee. The table was in a room across the corridor from the kitchen. There were nice views from the windows and the was a good variety of furniture.

Tall travellers need to watch their heads in the bedroom and some might find the stepped access difficult.

Well located for Hendaye Station for arriving late from San Sebastian and catching an early morning train to Paris. Comfortable attic room with ensuite, with access to a shared dining/lounge space. Range of produce provided in the kitchen for a self-service breakfast. Excellent host.

Everything was great!

The host was very friendly, she let us leave our bags in the room before check-in. She explained to us what is nice to do around, where to eat, etc. The self service breakfast which was included was simple but a very nice touch. The room and shared spaces felt very homy.
