The dinner was a little disappointing, it was a buffet dinner and not many options for children. They mostly ate ham and cheese.. breakfast was better with more kid friendly options.

The location and facilities were incredible. We stayed for one night on our travel across France & this stay was a lovely option. The room was so comfortable and spacious for our family of 5. The room was clean and beds were so nice! There was live entertainment the night we were there and the hotel felt really festive. We didn’t have time to explore or use the facilities but would love to have been able to do this!

The room (family 'tribe' room) was noisy as it was close to the lifts. The food was great, but not a huge amount of choice if you have picky children like ours.

Amazing selection of games and activities for children and adults! Inside there were things like a pool table, table football etc and outside there were garden games, some chickens and two gorgeous piglets. Room was a great size for a family. Great decor in the main lobby area.

Breakfast, not much protein based foods, not even eggs even though chickens walking around the garden, scrambled egg was not eatable made from some powder. Such a good place should have decent cook who can cook normal omelette.

In the area for family wedding and even though we had 20 people staying there there was very little access to food. Had to get Taxis/Ubers out of there for food. The bar food was really disappointing as they only served Charcuterie and bread

there are lots of outdoor activities available at the resort which is located in lovely forested area. A great place for a summer vacation with children.

They advertised there were 4 chargers for EVs but none of these were working. This is really very poor nowadays. Would not stay there again for that reason, this kind of information has to be reliable.

It’s a large building and the company have tried to make it a quirky antique style, it doesn’t work. There were empty beer & wine bottles left on the corridor for 24 hours! Our room had a plastic sheet under the bedding. Not pleasant and hot & sweaty! You don’t expect this in a up market hotel chain! Menu choice was very limited and appeared to be pre prepared!

We booked the hotel as we came for a wedding which was close by. Upon arrival only one of the two rooms was ready and we were told that we would receive the second room soon..Although the official time for receiving the room was 15:00 we only got the second room around 16:20.. when our event was about to start. If it would have been half an hour later after 15:00 it would have been ok..the entire purpose of choosing this hotel was because it was convenient being close to the wedding location. Receiving the room that late without doing any additional effort is simply not acceptable…in addition to that on the way back from the event we forgot the key for the second room. The receptionist gave a second key for a room which was already in use..Considering the price and the location the hotel was rather on the expensive side and when it comes to handling the above mentioned matters it is simply unprofessional and disappointing.

EV car charging did not work after wasting an hour trying to get it working. We depend on hotels to do an overnight charge to 100% ready for the next leg of our road trip. We chose this hotel because it claimed to have EV charging facilities. This cost us over an hour the next day on our drive to the ferry.

Much too expensive for the service provided. The rooms are average, the restaurant is good but certainly not good enough for the amounts charged, and the breakfast service is completely overwhelmed by the number of guests. Hotel guests must pay 39€ apiece to access the spa, which again is nice, but not nice enough to merit that kind of price. As a finishing touch, when we pointed out at checkout that there was a recurrent unpleasant smell in the bathroom, we were told “yes we know about that, but it’s not our responsibility”.

It was one big disappointment.

Arrived at 22.06, according website restaurant open till 22.30. Restaurant closed... asked 2 times, it was a no. Was send to the bar.. nothing too eat. I choose for Mercure, for the normal good service.. this place was not like normal Mercure... outdated.. Room was outdated, bed was ok. Shower made for people max 1.70. Parking places for electrical cars were occupied by old gazole cars.. also complained at arrival about that... no help at all... Waist of money..

Children running around inside the property, particularly close to us whilst we were eating but that’s more about parents lack of control over their children or encouragement to be respectful towards other guests. I have three of my own and would not allow this behaviour. There is plenty of space outside the property for children to run around and have fun.

The scenery, the interior design, the cleaning staff. They do a much better job at treating customers properly than that man at the restaurant or whoever he was.
