A beautiful building in a perfect Parisian location. Liliane is an incredibly kind and welcoming host. The room, complete with a private bathroom and toilet, is part of her home, but she ensures you have plenty of space and flexibility to fully enjoy your stay. Connecting with her is a delight, making the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

The next Metro station is about 8min by foot, several sights can already been visited in 30min by foot or even faster using the Metro. Liliane is an amazing host, she actively asked whether we enjoyed our breakfast or if we would like to change the breakfast for the following day. Unfortunately, we had already pre-planned our whole trip to Paris but she offered many suggestions for our next trip! She was even available over the course of the day in case of any questions. We were easily able to communicate with her in English as we were both not able to speak French.

Nothing, remember you are renting a room in someone’s house. if that’s not for you than don’t do it. However, the only time we saw her was in the morning for breakfast, so we felt like we had the place to ourselves.

The apartment was large and beautiful. Our host was lovely and kind. she provided us scrumptious breakfast which varied day to day. She also provided laundry for us when ever we needed it which was a convenient service for travelers. We had use to the refrigerator if needed. The bed was so comfortable, showers and toilet were separate but private to our use only. There was a metro just minutes through the park which make sure you walk through it’s wonderful and old with a carousel . we are grateful for the safe, clean and friendly environment that was provided for our stay. A wonderful room in an almost palace-like old apartment building and a lovely host. The place is quite central, maybe a 20 minutes walk away from the Arc de Triomphe and ~25 minutes to the Íle de la cité by metro. Just a hint, for those who require absolute privacy: It is a private room and a shower room, but more of flatmate situation. We didn‘t mind it at all, but maybe you should know.

A beautiful apartment within walking distance to the Champs Elysees. The room was decorated elegantly with an extremely comfortable king size bed. The highlight was our wonderful conversations with Liliana over our delicious breakfast. Her passion, warmth, recommendations and interest in world and local knowledge was enlightening.

The set-up is a 1-bedroom unit inside an apartment shared with the host. The toilet and bathroom are outside the bedroom. Perhaps out of respect for our privacy, there is no daily cleaning of the bedroom nor fixing of the bed, daily removal of trash. We came in mid-November and the bedroom was cold.

Location was in a safe area and close to everything we wanted to explore. Our host bought freshly-baked bread daily for our breakfast, and cooked eggs as requested. There is an elevator to reach the rented apartment located in the 3rd floor. This was important to us because of our luggage. The host can speak English which was a great help. Wifi was strong. Bathroom was huge and water pressure was strong. There is a bath tub. The heated rack to hang towels was very useful.

The toilet, bathroom and bedroom were all in separate rooms. We had a bad experience with the host, Liliane. My wife had to use the toilet at 4:30am and when she came out of the toilet the host was waiting outside the door and started yelling at her as she came out. "Why are you up at 4:30 am using the toilet?" My wife got scared and was teary as she came back to the bedroom and woke me up while the host was still outside our room standing in her undies and yelling at her. I opened the bedroom door and Liliane was still standing outside the door in her undies. I tried to calm her down but she went on complaining about using the toilet at 4:30am. I told Liliane to go back to bed and she doesn't have to prepare breakfast for us. Then I closed the bedroom door. We were very happy this was our last night to be there. We are definitely not going back to her apartment and will not suggest to anyone with a family to use her apartment.

Unfortunately, our stay was during an unusual heatwave and there is no air-conditioning. But Liliane brought us a nice big fan that kept us cool at night.

Really liked our hostess Liliane and the location was fabulous! Short walk to the Champs d’Elysees and the Eiffel tower. There was a little restaurant (La Valois) just up the street that we went to about four times! Lillian’s home was very nice and we really enjoyed our time there in Paris. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
