Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaBathroom was too tiny.
Perfectly located City Hotel; surrounded by restaurants, shops and bars. I had requested a room with Eiffel Tower view, and had got that room! Very friendly and helpful staff.

AustraliaThe lift is tiny, one person and two large suitcases could just fit in.
The Hotel Passy Eiffel is very well located, only moments walk to the Passy metro station and less than 15 minutes to the Seine, Eiffel tower and Trocadero. The room was comfortable, warm and, with full French balcony windows, airy. The staff were great and more than accommodating of our limited french language abilities.

United StatesI think they had just installed new carpet in our room, so there was a lot of lint from that, but honestly that was not a big deal.
We loved the room. It was so nice to be able to open the window and look down at the courtyard! The breakfast was delicious. The location was convenient to the metro, and there were several places to eat very close by.

AustraliaYou are not able to use the air cinditioners if the temperature outside is below a certain temperature. The room was stuffy in the evening and needed some air circulating. The hotel is on a busy road and to have the window open to cool the room down during the night means a 4am wakeup. If you are a hot sleeper or get night sweats be prepared for no a/c.
The hotel was very close to the Passy Metronet which made getting around very convenient. The Eiffel Tower is within an easy walking distance. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are good cafes and deli's nearby. It had a lift.

United StatesI do believe that for the price we paid it was not a great value to not have breakfast included. You also couldn't confirm an Eiffel Tower view and again for the price we paid I wish we could confirm that. In many other hotels you can select and pay for the specific room you want. We got lucky but I would have been very disappointed had we not.
This hotel was very nice and well appointed. It was very clean and was decorated so well. We had an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony and overall we loved the hotel and area and I would stay again.

United StatesRooms could have been a little bigger but I would not complain much about them. NYC has much smaller rooms.
We wanted a authentic Paris experience instead going for a marriot/hilton chain. Passy Eiffel exceeded all our expectations. It is nicely located in the heart of the town. It is easily accessible by train. The staff was very friendly and ensured we had the best time. 10 minutes walk from Eiffel and more over the staff surprised us by giving us a balcony room with a beautiful view of Eiffel. The balcony was also very pretty with nice coffee chairs and table. Unbeatable!! Definite recommend for anyone who is visiting Paris for the first time

GreeceThey do not make espresso or cappuccino for breakfast, only filter coffee. The carpet in the room where I stayed could be replaced.
The staff is helpful, the room is very decent for Paris, there are a magnifying mirror and paper tissues in the bathroom, the breakfast room has a lot of light and is not in the basement (unlike other hotels), the area is chic and there are a few affordable restaurants around and plenty of nice shops.

NetherlandsThe breakfast area was not able to accommodate all guests properly. It would be great if some more space could be used for guests to have breakfast.
Simple and clean rooms with good bathrooms. The location is perfect if you need to be close to the OECD and wish to see the sights during your off time. Staff was lovely and helpful. We especially enjoyed the two lobbies and the possibility of hanging out in the garden. A great experience overall!

New ZealandRoom was very, very small. We stayed in three separate rooms - 6 of us and we were put in a very strange/odd area. Two rooms upstairs and one downstairs. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. We didn't have it.
Location was absolutely fantastic. Staff were exceptionally helpful and went over and above out of their way to help me with something very important. Exceptionally close to everything.
