*Close to a main road that was noisy throughout the working day (though we got used to it pretty quickly), but not a rural idyll, if that is what you are looking for. *Difficult to dry towels/clothes on wet/colder days (no airer, no heated towel rail, no tumble dryer). *No terrace/patio and grassed areas uneven/rough. *No spare sheets or towels for if you are staying longer than a week (we washed the bedding and towels and then, after struggling to get everything dry the same day, visited a local launderette to use a tumble dryer). *Well equipped kitchen let down by flimsy, plastic handled cutlery. *Only one (ancient) socket in each bedroom, and only kitchen had modern sockets; light switches were a mixture of old, even older and new.

*Good value for money overall, with just a few niggles. *Great for small families. *Recently fitted and well equipped kitchen. *Recent new bathroom with great shower. *Comfortable sofas/chairs (all 4 seats reclined!) and comfortable beds. * 2 tables - one in kitchen and one in living room. *Good size rooms. *Close enough to walk to shops and explore Rostrenen. *Close to cycle/walking routes. *Great road links to a large part of central Brittany, and beyond. *TV and Sky box with free to view English language channels (not sure why the listing doesn't mention this?). *Easy to find and parking on road right outside the property. *Quiet in the evenings and overnight. NB. You can take your recycling to the decheterie, which is in an industrial site just down the main road, and bin day (non recyclable rubbish) is Monday. I have uploaded photos of the 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen (wide angle to get everything in!)
