Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The showerhead was quite weird, 3 big holes with some steamy current coming out of it. It was fine, felt clean, but not the best shower I ever encountered. It's not a fancy hotel that just opened, some things look a little older. Doesn't mean it's dirty, but some of these newer budget hotels still have a fresher look.
The AC worked very well, the parkinglot underneat the hotel was good, felt very safe. Staff was okay! The neighborhood is fine. Compared to other options available in Lyon this hotel is decent value for money.

Lots of work in underground car park. The area when you exit the lift to the car park needs to be cleaned up a bit and more lighting. Corridors where rooms are need repainting & carpets changed.
Quick checkin, helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Only 1 of the 2 lifts worked (up to and sometimes over 5 minutes waiting) Air conditioning was weak The bathroom odour was unpleasant
Secure underground carpark Good breakfast (highly recommended) Not bad for the price, very good value Rooms are tiny like a shoebox, but again, value is good Fantastic for an overnight stay whilst travelling across France (like we were) Staff speak English, Italian, French, and German to name a few languages

Room was very small. However I had read the reviews beforehand so knew this was the case before booking. Was a perfect size however for just a few nights
Easy to find and close to the train station. Great location. We walked everywhere and all the sights were not too far (if you like walking)

Room is extremely small, bathroom sink is incredibly small and inconvenient. pillows are sturdy and bold, cleaning is average. The neighborhood is undergoing heavy restructuring so in the evening you have to walk poorly illuminated areas to reach the hotel
The hotel is quiet, free water refill machine at the reception, very close to the railway station and you can easily reach the Garibaldi subway station on foot. Nice aircon. Room is completely dark if you turn off everything and close the blinds

There were no instructions for the tv and the ac and I had to go down several times to get it sorted out. After several visits the receptionist attended to the issue and sorted it out.
The hotel is fairly centrally located from the metro station and the town.

The space for 3 people was pretty small . There was also no space for the baggages so we left them om the floor but then we were huddled up . Also they left us only 2 body towels for 3 people and none for our hair

The rooms are very tiny, and if you are with luggage, it’s hard to fit in everything. They speak mostly French. No water.

The triple room was very small and did not have space for suitcases- we had to push them up against the entry door in order to get into the bathroom

There was some sort of unpleasant smell when you walk into the hotel. I wasn’t sure where it was coming from. However, when we went to our room, the smell was gone. There is also lack of space in the room. You can hardly move around. There are no facilities in the room - no hot water kettle, water, etc. Another issue was that the housekeeping stuff would just open your door everyday without knocking.
Location was within a walking distance of the main train station. The front desk stuff was helpful.

Awaken at 5:30 am by a train. From that time it was impossible to sleep due to train noise.
