The strangest thing is that no towels were provided, unique for any hotel I have ever stayed at. Luckily, we had spotted this in reviews and were aware as the message about this from the hotel only arrived once we were travelling. This should be upfront on the booking pages. The shower was absolutely tiny, probably between 50 and 60cm square, with nowhere to put shower gels etc. it’s not easy to bend down in that size of box! The woman on reception when we arrived could have been more welcoming. The room doors have very strong closers and shut loudly - perhaps they could be adjusted? There were minor maintenance issues which seem very common in lots of hotels - bathroom fittings coming away from walls.

We stayed here as a one- night, inexpensive stopover on our way home and the location was good for this. The hotel seems to have been recently refurbished as it was much better than many reviews suggest - carpets replaced with hard floor, bright decor. Breakfast was perhaps more limited than other budget hotels, orange juice only, one cereal and hot drinks - but there were croissants, which us a cut above most as they generally only supply plain bread. We had asked for a quiet room and were given one on the top floor at the end of a corridor, so that was much appreciated. The very firm bed suited us fine. We highly recommend the buffet at the Chines/Japanese restaurant two minutes walk away. For the price, and one night, the hotel was a good choice and we would stay there again.

There should be more attention to the cleanliness. One of the blankets was dirty, pillows not very comfortable.

Rooms are essentials, everything you need for one night stop, you can not ask more for the price you pay. Towels are not included but you can ask them at the reception. Staff is very friendly.

Breakfast although cheap wasn't the best

We had to book two separate rooms for a family of 4 but were given two adjoining rooms with an adjoining door that the reception opened for us to join the two rooms together—a great location for an easy stopover en route to the Alps. Great Chinese buffet located two minutes walk away.

front door open all night worried me. not especially clean, rusty radiator, microwave in the canteen needed to be thoroughly cleaned by staff member before I could use it.

i was able to get a ground floor room which gave me easy access for my dogs.
