Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomPerhaps a bar area or outdoor sitting area would have been good.
The location of the hotel was exactly where we wanted to be. The room was adequate for our stay. We did not take breakfast.

NetherlandsThe fridge (although we we delighted to have one) made some very strange noises like it was preparing to take off!!!!!! 😀 especially during the night. Also the doors to all rooms (from the constant banging) were very difficult to close.
Very clean room and comfy bed. Mini fridge was really useful. Good AC. Staff were helpful and checking in was very easy. Great location- 5 mins walk from the railway and bus stations. 5 mins walk to a sandy beach and lots of bars and restaurants.

United StatesThe hotel is manned only during limited hours. If you arrive before 3:00, there's no chance to leave your bags. The shower curtain is clearly too short, so that the floor inevitably gets wet while showering.
The room was not large, but it was nice to have a fridge and a balcony where we could have some food. Not far at all from the train station and the marina. There are nice walks one can take in the vicinity if one takes the local train for a couple of stops.

United KingdomThe bathroom basins were obviously chosen by someone who does not wet shave! I guess the choice was design over practicality and design won - this is a minor grumble though.
Hotel is perfectly located one road back from the main marina road, but is in an excellent centralized location. The hotel is 5 minute's walk from the train station so well within luggage-wheeling distance. Rooms on the 3rd floor are the best as they come with a shared outside terrace (although it is always in the shade). Although the room was a little on the small side, it had all I needed in terms of a small fridge/freezer, a telly (French channels only), double bed (even though I was a sole traveler), hot rain shower, safe, free internet and entry key fob so you can come and go as you please even when reception is not staffed. Hotel is located at the nicer end of the sandy Frejus beach and I would recommend staying in this area for boulangeries, supermarkets and restaurants.

SloveniaHotel has no parking. So if arriving with car prepare to search one on the street which is very hard, car parks are nearby but are 19€ a night.
Nice little hotel in the centre of the city. Breakfast was good, but basic. Room was nice. 5 min walk to the centre and to the beach. Would reccomend for shorter stays.

ItalyThe room is soooo small, looks like a barbie toy . But fully remodeled. Everything works fine, a perfect small bathroom with a small shower, with electric towel warmer, modern and efficient toilet paper dispenser. The safe was closed so couldn't be used because you have to wait the following day for someone to come and reset the code functions. The only mirror in room 111 is located inside a wardrobe, but it's behind the clothes hangers so you need to move all your clothes if you want to make use of it. The air-conditioning is perfect. The walls between the other rooms are quite sound proof, you hear the noise of people in the corridor. The front desk closes at lunch time and reopen at 3pm. Also closes in the evening till morning. You need to use your room electronic key. I will definitely return to this hotel when next visiting Saint Raphael. The price for the room is proportional to its size. I didn't use the breakfast option because there's a nice breakfast place very close to the hotel.
The location is Super walking distance to many nice restaurants, to the port with its many aquasport activities, to the many public and private beaches. There's a free parking area one street behind the hotel.
