We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesI ate at the Breatkfast buffet daily for 5 days. On most days, I had to flag down a staff member to request coffee because it was not offered in a reasonable amount of time. Is this becuase I was a woman? Alone? Not sure. Other tables didn't seem to have this problem.
Location was convenient to the Metro and dining options.

We stayed in presidential suit and it was fantastic. The views, the beds, pillows and all hotel facilities and staff were lovely too. The metro station in right next to hotel and you can move around almost anywhere around Paris and other cities from that station.

Amazing location with a nice village near by with amazing chocolate croissants. Staff were very friendly. The room was a nice size and comfortable beds. We had a view of the seine and it was nice to see the boats. Kids enjoyed the fuseball table.

Location work great for my business purpose - close to Bercy Village for restaurant, bars and supermarket needs, Service is excellent at every stage (check-in, check-out, breakfast). Room service and general cleaniless are at high standard. AC is working as desired and silent, bed quality is very good, bathroom clean and fully set Cinema and the circus museum is a plus but no time during my business trip

United Statesthere were a few people smoking in front, next to the entrance when I checked in and also in the morning. But maybe it's just Paris. :)
The hotel room is large and comfortable for Paris. But the area felt like a suburb being next to a shopping area, further away from the center than a typical Parisian neighborhood. There is a nice, large park and a riverbank next to the hotel and walkable distance to La Defense.
