Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandHotel could use more up to date pictures to reflect current state of the rooms. That said, pictures are still relevant, just abit out of date.
Great localization for a hotel, rather quiet street in general. Walking distance to one of the main metro routes system and incredibly close to Moulin Rouge. It was always pleasant to come inside the hotel lobby for a quick food or drink refreshment in the middle of the day which was complimentary on the hotel. Room stuff were helpfull and trustworthy. Mr Edouard, hotel manager is a man of his word. It was especially worth to talk to staff about hidden gem restaurants, since because of it we discovered a place where local people were dining daily, and we would have a authentic French cuisine with great company. Despite of an error done by the hotel that lead to terrible situation, Mr. Edouard has came up with a solution and followed up on it. Unfortunete event aside, this hotel is recommandable!

United StatesRoom was very small and barebones, but could just have been the room we had budgeted for. No fridge, no iron, barely any space in the room (but I hear this can be typical in Paris?).
Location is amazing, wonderful restaurants nearby and just good energy. Easy to get anywhere. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We needed something mailed and they were very accommodating. Filtered water and espresso in the lobby was convenient. Loved it, great for budget travelers.

United KingdomMaybe a little bit brighter lighting in the bedrooms but nothing major.
Loved the location, the comfortable beds, the quietness, the quirky decor, the free tea, coffee and water in reception it all made for a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomLimited seating for breakfast; time it right or you may have to wait. Room 405 requires 2 key cards in the slot to activate the electricity, other rooms need just one key card.
Centrally located for the Montmartre district, 5 mins walk from the Moulin Rouge. Quaint and quirky hotel with very comfortable beds in typically Parisian rooms which are well appointed with good showers, kettle, TV and toiletries. Rooms had good air con. The reception area offers complimentary coffee, tea and fresh iced water to take to your room. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast was served in the cellar, with a great selection of hot and cold items, juices, pastries and cereals. These were constantly replenished by the waitress.

United KingdomGreat hotel in a really good location. Easy to walk to the main Paris attractions or to close by metro station. Single room was comfortable and had an AC on when we arrived. For breakfast there was lots of choice of food ranging from continental to vegetarian options. The hotel had a cold water tap and coffee/tea maker next to reception that was available for the guests. There is also a greengrocer shop a minute away where you can buy food or drinks.

United KingdomAir con was difficult to control and the shower head sprayed the water beyond the bathtub.
Very welcoming check in staff, offering tea coffee and water which is always available in the lobby area and left over pastries from that mornings breakfast service. Triple room was very spacious. Location is great, close to metro stations and moulin rouge.

United KingdomStayed one night on a Thursday and was quite noisy throughout the night unfortunately. Some noise from other rooms too.
Bed was comfy, room on the small side but not bad for Paris. The windows and Juliet balcony were nice. Room was clean.

United StatesThe room was a little small for two people with all of our luggage but otherwise we loved our stay.
Everyone who worked downstairs was very polite and gave plenty of suggestions when we asked for things to do for the day. I would recommend a friend to stay here if they were to visit Paris. Thanks!

TurkeyRooms are dark, but mine was looking at the courtyard and was not too possible to open the curtains all the time and you are face to face with other building windows. And lights in the room were not enough.
Location is very convenient. Room I have stayed in was quite small but overall OK for a hotel room in Paris. Breakfast options were quite good. And the coffee/water available all day long, it is simply great. Staff was very nice and helpful.

United KingdomIt may be the going rate for Paris now but given fairly basic facilities and small room sizes, it felt quite pricey. For a hotel called Happy the staff seemed a bit miserable. The immediate area near hotel is a bit seedy (massage parlours etc).
The decor, look and feel, made the hotel seem unique / one off . If you want to be by Montmatre then location is good and it’s easy to get around all of Paris on Metro from Blanche.

Perfect location to visit Paris. The room size, I guess it is a standard for this price range in Paris. Definitely not spacious but big enough for a short stay in a comfortable and clean place to rest after a full day in Paris :).
