Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceEveryone at the reception was kind and friendly. Rooms were basic but comfortable, and zero complaints about the water pressure and bathroom. Location wise, there are very few eating places around but a carrefour and a private supermarket just steps away. Or it is about 30 minute walk to the city centre but since we went during a non peak period, we chose to drive down 5 minutes since parking was relatively easy.

FranceNot close to main town of Sete, but given the parking issues in Sete it’s probably a good compromise.

Busy place which is a good sign. The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. We had breakfast once only because we like to go out. It was very good. Our room was cleaned and tidied every day. The hotel was in a great situation, shops and cafes around about. The number 3 bus goes straight into town. We loved Sete. I’m glad we found it.

United KingdomNothing negative to say. Met my needs and exceeded expectations.
Friendly and helpful staff, I arrived very late at night due to severe train delays and they were very good about it. Also kindly looked after my bag the next day until the evening. The room was comfortable and the balcony was great. I have visited Sete many times and La Corniche is the best area to stay imho.

United KingdomParking is on the street, not free parking. We stayed Saturday to Sunday so got in the car park for free but week days it’s not possible due to 2 hours maximum stay at a time. Could be difficult to find a parking space.
Great staff couldn’t do enough very good English, lovely breakfast. Town short walk away about 30 minutes. Rooms were good all amenities covered fridge and bonus. Charge your phone next to the bed very handy.

New ZealandThe staff were so welcoming, friendly and supportive. On arrival the lady behind the desk even checked we were in a free street park. Our room had a view to Mont St Clair and a sea view. The room was comfortably appointed. The screen blinds meant you could keep the windows open at night thus no ac needed. The breakfast was typically French and great value at 8Euro. The coffee was strong and delicious. The location was superb as the beaches were 5 mins walk away, the main town was an easy 2 km walk, and the buses were available if needed. The nearby restaurants, shops, bars, pharmacy and supermarket meant all needs were met in the immediate vicinity.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and had a good shower, a safe and a small fridge. Location was ideal, 5 minutes walk from the beach, with a couple of bars/bistros within a few metres. Parking was available close by and there are also bus services.

The front desk staff were remarkable, very helpful and informative. The location is central to the beach district and city core. A nice scenic 30-minute walk into the center of town and 10-minutes to the beaches. The hotel has roller shutters which dramatically reduce any traffic noise. Parking was not an issue at all as there was plenty of nearby angled street parking which was safe and readily accessible. Desk staff are very helpful in determining and recommending best options for parking your auto
