Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

not close to the center of the city (but good connection by the metro) the shower is opened to the rest of a bathroom and water was all over the floor
the hotel is very close to the metro station, the Seine is just behind the hotel very comfortable beds the baked goodies out in the lobby when we were returning to the hotel in the evenings.

The door to our bathroom needs to be fixed, it was broken to slide across and the window was missing one side of the shear curtain. Other than that great stay.
The room was nicely renovated, nice amenities, good lighting.

Please work on the walls, I could hear the conversations and rest from other rooms.🙈 Had trouble with my luggage. The room was really small, but that’s Paris, right?😅

It would have been better if there was a fridge instead of a TV in our room.

The location is far from the center of Paris, it is necessary to travel by metro (thankfully, the metro station is very close to the hotel).

considering the room was for 2 people, we felt the room was rather small, compared to other rooms we saw being cleaned.
the staff were so helpful, and genuinely wanted us to have a great time in the hotel and Paris the bed was really comfortable, went to sleep straight away and never woke up during the night

There wasn't anything to mention about. The pillows could have been more comfortable, but I never ask them to replace it. I imagine they would have if I did.
The room was nice, a little small, but enough for 1 person. The closeness to the subway stops was definitely very nice and made things convenient.

Beds a bit small. Also, the parking spot was very narrow, takes quite a while until you've finished parking the car (including finding and entering the building).
