Good location, friendly staff, comfortable room

The first room we were given was not bad, but it looked nothing like the photos. The bathroom was minuscule, with only a flimsy shower curtain around a raised square shower floor. They were able to change our room the following day to one of the ones similar to the photos shown on Booking.com, and it was a slightly smaller room, but a much better bathroom. The walls were also quite thin and one could hear the movements of all the surrounding rooms, but that's pretty typical for most Paris hotels in this price range. If you bring earplugs you should have no problem.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we wanted to change our room to one of the ones more similar to the photos, the bathroom in particular. The rooms were comfortable enough and very clean. Its location is great, with the lively rue Daguerre neighborhood right outside the door and a number of metro and bus stops nearby. For the price, it's worth it if you plan to spend most of your time outside the hotel exploring Paris.

Contrary to the other reviews, my room (21) was clean, shower and bathroom was all good and single bed (actually a three quarter) was very comfortable. I arrived late but check in was fine - ok to pay on departure. Its just a 30 minute walk to St Germain area which is fine. I had lost my pen but receptionist gave me his which was a helpful start to the day. Will stay again next time in Paris

Room didn’t look like in the pictures. Tiniest bathroom ever and very cold. No heater in the bathroom. Showering was difficult for a person with broad shoulders. Thin walls. Heard everything.

Having been allocated a top floor room, unfortunately it was an attic room with sloping ceiling. Ideal for one person, but roof was a bit challenging for second person, with a danger of a few headaches if forgetting to duck ! Better to request a room lower down.

Excellent location, in a quiet street within walking distance of Montparnasse station. Close to all transport. Great friendly welcome from receptionist. Perfect, if small city hotel , with room size similar to many city hotels. Ensuite shower room adequate. Bed comfortable and room warm. Lift to all floors.

You can hear EVERYTHING, because walls are very thin. So please bring earplugs with you :)

Elevator too small. Very very basic with old squicky floors. Feels like a budget hotel where you just put your head down

Great location - close to train and metro stations. Nice location - good shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Outdoor seating area. All you could ask for in a 2star hotel in a good location.

I'm not sure if it is translation problem or something else, but on booking it said there would be a bathtub, altho there was only a shower. Not a problem for me tho.

Had everythink i needed. The location was amazing, could get everywhere by walking, metro was not too far.

The property was in a good location. It is close to restuarants and bars. There are a couple of metro stations close to the hotel. Major atraction are a close train ride away. The room was comfortable and clean. It is a good value for money considering prices in Paris. I liked that you can check-in outside the check-in period.
