Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe shower drain was blocked when we tried to shower (the night we arrived) - the recess filled up with water and drained VERY slowly. Maintenance promptly came to have a look, checked there was no hair/physical blockage, but said they would have to call out a technician the next day. We asked if there was another room we could move to/at least use the shower, but the hotel was booked out for the type of room we were in. Had to shower in increments to allow the water to slowly drain away. Technician came the next day, drainage improved somewhat but still slow, so second person to shower still had to do it in increments. Room was very warm and even on lowest setting we were roasting in the room, had to leave the windows open to cool it down. I did not think to check but there is no fridge in the room, so we had to eat the fruit and cheese bought at the local market ASAP.
The room was quite spacious for a Paris hotel room. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Bed was large and comfortable, with standard and European pillow options. Concierge was very helpful and friendly. Free tea and coffee was available in the lounge. We travelled with a baby, and the hotel provided a nice travel cot, even including a cute plush blanket and additional towels for baby. On Thursdays and Saturdays there is a local market at the end of the road which was delightful - fresh produce, cheese, flowers, etc. On arrival you can see the Eiffel Tower at the end of the road too. Nice restaurants within walking distance. 7th arrondissement is clean, safe & quiet, great for a family stay. About a 15-20min walk to St Germain, and short walk to the metro station. Carrefour express just around the block for emergency groceries. To get across to the north side of the Seine takes a while though, depends what sights you want to see.

NorwayI was supposed to travel to the airport at 4 AM, asked the receptionist to order a taxi for me, which he promised to do. Neither the taxi nor the receptionist was there the day of my departure. I fixed it by myself. but it was an unpleasand experience.
Overall - good experience. Clean room, comfy bed, nice breakfast, quiet location.

The beds are extremely comfortable, Breakfast area with coffee machine and mini fridges was a nice place to relax. Location is perfect if you want to be in walking distance of the Eiffel tower. IrelandWe had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was really friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, quiet, and so comfortable, we slept wonderfully each night. It also had such a lovely scent and was always at the perfect temperature, making it even more relaxing. The breakfast is a must-try, it’s absolutely delicious and served in a charming, cozy dining area. The location is perfect, while the hotel is in a peaceful area, it’s still close to everything. Plus, you get a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower on the way to the hotel. Highly recommend!

AustriaBreakfast could have started at 6 am instead of 7 am for my early starts. The price was high (like many Paris hotels).
The location was within 5 minutes walking to my work location. The room facilities were excellent, including a good desk for a work space. The staff was very helpful - including their handyman who repaired my suitcase. Very clean and quiet. 24 hour front desk. also 5 minutes walk to the Metro.

This is a great selection for travelers. The receptionists are highly polite, respectful, and professional, and the hotel view is just marvelous with its own garden. The room has a balcony and the garden view gives me a calm feeling. Also, the decoration for the entire hotel is excellent - the hotel lounge at the RJ floor is a great place to work and rest and I do like the atmosphere there. The guests in the hotel are also very friendly and we say hello to each other and exchange travel experience in the elevator as well as the hallway. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time when I am in Paris.
