Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The hotel is in the 2nd floor. So it’s bit challenging if you’re carrying heavy luggage. Because you need to bring it all the way through the stairs

She was a very friendly and helpful host. She taught me a lot about the sights of Paris and about the supermarkets and restaurants in the area. It was a pleasant stay, just like coming home. Thank you very much.

The area was good however it's a bit far from the station and city centre.
The owner of place was very helpful. She was very kind. Clean house, room. She offered me a lot of things. The view of balcony was nice.

the view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. the owner of the property Teresa is an amazing lady, She was so helpful, her help made our life so easier. one of the most Airbnb we have stayed.

The location is very quiet,perfect for everyone who want a place to cool down from a long day in a big city. Right in front of the house is a beautiful Lake and you can reach the next train Station and a big shopping Center ( including grocery store)by 7 Minutes walking. Theresa is very friendly and caring, gives you many advises about Paris and which way to get to your destination. The price fits the offers and is very fair for people like me..students. I enjoyed my stay and if I'll visite Paris again,I would be very happy to stay there again.👍

Theresa is an awesome person. she is very energetic and helpful. She has provided me with a detailed plan of Paris top attractions and how to visit them in an efficient way. She is also not strict about returning time to the house.

I have really enjoyed staying at Theresa her place. First of all the welcome was really good, I received information and detailed routes about how to get to the location. The apartment is located at the lake which gives a fantastic view. The area is quite, and it is located nearby (about 10 min. walk) a large mall with big stores and a metro station which could take you to the city centre immediately. Theresa was very sweet, open and kind and we have had great conversations. The rooms were very clean, as well as the shared spaces. All in all a wonderful stay and I'd definitely recommend to stay here, I would surely go again.

Obsession with controlling the guest. the property manager is very strict for rules were never mentioned. Like there is no key or access only though her. Your shoes has to be taken of and make sure you have a slipper or use hers, you can’t step into the room with your clothes, you must have a pyjama and change your clothes only on the shower room and keep your clothes out of the room accessible to everyone. Obviously you must take you wallet, keys, any valuables from your clothes. There is no hand soap/ shampoo, shower gel, when I asked she provided only hand soap for a single use and she took it back after I am done. Expect nothing in your room just bed and desk.

I have to share the place with the owner and other people, the bedroom was very hot and no fan. You have to take your own tea bags if not no cuppa. It was mentioned that for breakfast, it would cost €1.20, and you would not get anything. She would tell you to go to the mall.

The host complain about everything. She did nit provide bathing soap or showe gel.
