shortly after I left the hostel, I contacted them to check for my AirPods on June 1st. I specified they had a yellow bottom and they confirmed that they found them and to send a shipping label for a return. I send them the label the next day and kept on checking if these were returned and they said it will take time. On June 10 I contacted them again because the label was going to expire and they said they need to get their location. At this time the AirPods were out of the case and I even sent them a picture, which they shortly called to say they weren’t the same. Per my screenshot you can see I was specific about the room and case, my room only had 1 other person and it’s obvious the AirPods were at the hostel for 2 more days. I will certainly not be returning or referring my friends to stay here. I just finished the Camino and all albergues were more honest than this hostel.

This is a great hostel. The owner is super helpful and keep the hostel neat and tidy all the time! They provided clear instructions on self-check in and also tips and advice on what to see around Nice. Not the usual Cannes and Monaco but also Antibes, Saint Jean Cap Ferret and Eze which were some of my favourites. Breakfast was good and different everyday, Tea and coffee available all through the day! There were enough toiletories in the bathroom. Will definitely be back as there so much to explore on French Riviera

There’s nothing I did not like but I think it could be a good plus to add hand sanitiser in the toilets since in the 8people dorm there’s not a sink where the toilet is and if you need to use the toilet while someone else is having a shower that means you have to wait to wash your hands.

The hostel has a very nice entrance with a with shared space comfortably arranged for people to relax, work or study, as well as have food/drinks. I loved that the beds had curtains, lights and sockets working well, access to a locker in the room is given with your door key together with a spare drawer to put any other stuff.

Great location, just in front of La Cité du Vin and Halles de Bacalan. Food is easy to access, great bars nearby. The hotel was clean with great facilities, beds were comfortable, lobby is great and breakfast is delicious.

It's an excellent modern hostel with great facilities. The staff was courteous, very helpful and at service with a smile! I had breadfast there and it was great value for money. A typical french breadfast with pain au chocolat, crossiant, bread, cheese, meats etc. The hostel is aptly located, easy to get to using public transport.

The hostel looked quite modern, which matches the surrounding area (Bacalan). The nearest tram station is only a few minutes on foot. The staff was also friendly and informative. Lastly, the room and bathroom were generally clean, and the bed was comfy.

I enjoyed my stay at this place. Easily accessible via tram. Everything went very well. Smooth check-in and very cooperative staff. Rooms are quiet and well equipped. Bathroom are shared but clean. I experienced no disturbance at night. Highly recommended place.

there wasn’t a lot of choice at breakfast, but i think this is down to it not being peak season for the area but also my fussy eating habits.

fab location- 10 min tram ride into the city centre. facilities are AMAZING, my bed was spacious, i had ample storage and a private bathroom. the room was cleaned daily which i liked. staff were helpful and friendly, i really enjoyed my stay. food and drink sold there is lovely too and priced very reasonably

Poor wifi connection, very hot in the room, not so clean bathrooms, without paper or soap for hand wash. More like a hotel, rather than a hostel.

The common area apparently closes or empties at night and I have been kindly asked to go to sleep at 2 am. Not a problem if you want to sleep, but not convenient for someone who has lots of work to do. Additionally, while the rooms are designed with convenience in mind, they do require common sense from all of the guests to not cause disturbance. For jnstance, there is a first sink in the shower and a second one in the actual room.where the beds are. One particularly empathetic roommate would use the second sink for all of his morning hygiene routine. Not the hostel's fault, but this sort of thing may happen. There's also some slight zinging going on from the sockets near the bed.

The hostel is an especially lovely-looking place, with a large common area equipped with working places and various games for entertainment. The staff is very friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room itself is equipped with humongous lockers for personal storage, nice facilities within the room and a curtain for each bed. The available breakfast is a bit pricey and doesn't offer too much variety but it's an 'all-you-can-eat' buffet, so theoretically you can drive the price of an individual croissant as close to zero as you wish (or can).
