Bwing on the ground level room, I could the person walking the level above, which was not ideal during the night.

There was a bit of noise from some sort of engine which I'm not sure what it was not that was not major. The pressure in the shower could be better but there was plenty of hot water.

The place is located in an old, yet well-maintained, building with a lot of its old features preserved and with matching decoration. Emma, the live-in staff was very nice and welcoming and helped with everything you might need. The room was very nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location is central but in a quiet and peaceful square. The breakfast was good and overall it was good value for money.

The only thing I missed was a kettle in my room even though there is a wonderful communal kitchen to use at any time.

Lovely stylish house with nice details, felt very homely. Spotlessly clean, easy check in, great communications from Emma. Very nice breakfast, daughter had home cooked whilst I chose fresh fruit. Plenty of parking outside during my visit, it is meters but plenty of it. Highly recommend, Emma was so warm, friendly and welcoming, a perfect stay. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again. Super.

Our ensuite bathroom was very pokey. The sink so tiny I could not really wash my face without filling the bathroom with water.

Bathroom was really tiny. It didn't particularly bother me, but it might bother some some understandably. But really clean, and not a deal breaker

Parking is really expensive right outside the property but Vanessa guided us to a multi-storey round the corner which saved us quite a lot. In future we'll take the train and use the bus within the city!

Elegant property in great location. Vanessa was very helpful, especially about the gluten-free items for breakfast - a real plus for coeliacs. Lots of good places nearby for lunch/dinner. For chocaholics, visit Mrs Potts on the way to College Green - yummy. Also less than 5 mins walk from St Georges's Bristol.

Lovely old building and atmosphere. Beautifully clean. Crisp white sheets and towels . Communicative intelligent personnel and la crème de la crème - no awful big black tv screen hogging up space but a lovely Roberts radio ! How refreshing! A real radio is infinitely better than having to online . I've travelled around a lot and get really fed up with never being given a radio. The kitchen is near and a nuce atmosphere - and you can make tea or coffee there. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. All in all a really nice place to stay .

Nothing! The one small complaint is a noisy pump whenever anyone used a faucet, but it wasn’t a problem at night.

The host was so friendly and accommodating, letting us check-in early. Breakfast everyday was delicious, and you can’t beat the location!
