Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the house is looked after and clean. kitchen is fully stocked. Tesco supermarket opposite the house. It is quiet, bright and well designed and equipped for 16 people. Towels, soap, shampoo and other essentials are provided. Heating and air conditioning work very well. It is near central London with good public transport connections and in a safe neighbourhood

Best house in London. Safe, big, clean. Next to Tesco supermarket and many grocery shops and restaurants. Perfect for large family with kids. Kitchen has all cooking and dining facilities. Bathrooms have towels, shampoo, soap, hair conditioner, hairdryer. Bedrooms have TVs with Netflix, Disney+ and other online streaming services. Very good washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Garden is very green and looked after. It is a 100% satisfaction. We had flexible check in and check out plus bag storage.Best house in London. Safe, big, clean. Next to Tesco supermarket and many grocery shops and restaurants. Perfect for large family with kids. Convenient to get to central London and Excel. Modern, clean and everything new. Just like pictures or even better. Free parking and sunny green. No smells and neutral smell in whole house. Big 5 bedrooms and comfortable beds

The property was very clean and spacious. There was of room to comfortably accommodate 9 adults with a variety of beds and 2 bathrooms. There was also an outside space which gave us a lovely extension of the space we had available!

Very spacious, air conditioning working well and quiet, clean rooms and bathrooms. Kitchen has exit on garden so we wold eat outside. Host is exceptionally friendly and professional and made us feel welcome and safe.

4 out of 5 bedrooms have HD smart TVs with free online films and channels (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Now TV and more). Kitchen is nicely stocked even with spices and oil. Bathrooms have all essentials. Bedrooms have super nice beds and are quiet. House stays cool in hot weather but there is Air con in kitchen/ground floor area

Good house when you book for a large family as it is big. Beds are really nice, high luxurious quality so we slept very well. House is quiet, clean and feels very fresh and newly decorated. Location is near central London with as quick as 20-30 min journey depending when and where you travel. Kitchen is stocked and equipped well

House kept cool in hot weather (there is air conditioning in some areas). Both bathrooms are very clean and all 5 bedrooms nicely designed and kept fresh. Great connection to central London in under 30 minutes. We were a group of 16 but we all fitted comfortably

We could get to Central London in 25-30 minutes which was great for our family visiting London. Supermarket next to the house. Very big rooms, bed comfortable and super clean house. Self check in allowed us to arrive late at night

Really nice house. Everything was perfect and the stay exceeded our expectations. Central London is as close as 30 min with good transport connection. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean and full kitchen allows you to make quick meal which you can enjoy in the garden.

almost each room has big HD TVs with free films and channels (Netflix, Disney+, amazon prime). Hairdryers, soft towels, tea/coffee, spices and sugar. Very homely feel, which made us feel relaxed. Late self check in was no problem. Tesco supermarket next door with many smaller shops as well. Bus stop outside the house and underground nearby.
