Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomShared tv room had to watch what was already on. No equipment to cook with so not much point in having kitchen with cooker. Railings on stairs were a bit loose but ok once you know where not to use.
Can leave luggage after check out. 15 minute walk to Olympia for event. 6 toilets and 3 showers for our corridor.

United KingdomBedroom windows only opened slightly and in the 27° heat was not nice at night (understand we were on 2nd floor so safety maybe) the shower heads were a bit unclean along with taps, pipes (again could be due to hard water) but would be good to see them cleaner.
The private room and own mini fridge/cutlery, luggage storage after checkout and walking distance to all destinations needed

United KingdomThe noise at night from other guests is far too much, does hinder sleeping. The place could be much cleaner with some repairs made to improve the facilities.
Location Is good and checking in and out was simple. Good for a couple nights stay where I was out most of the day.

Czech RepublicIt’s a weird place with long dark corridors. Our room was small with very dirty walls. The bathrooms/toilets should be cleaned more often.
Good location, close to the metro station. It’s good enough if you need to stay for one night.

CroatiaLack of cleanliness. Stains and human hair visible on the bedsheets and in the toilet. couldn't sleep well because of the noise on the streets - there were some construction works as well as paper thin walls. The street is on its own relative quiet.
Location - can reach most things via tube. Reception staff was kind.

United Kingdom- bedding was funny; didn't seem to fit very well, which made it seem unkept/less professional. - there were some dodgy stains on the wall near the headboard likely from 'activities', which were disturbing to look at. - terrible design of room nr 3. It got extremely hot in there (coming from a person who likes it warm), but if you open the window, anyone could climb in since it's on the ground floor and the window opens to the little side "alley". Felt very unsafe sleeping window open as a female, since I woke up at night because it was so hot in there. If anybody smokes outside, you can be sure all the smell comes straight to your room. - the room only had one light source - daytime spotlights. Would appreciate something more gentle and dimmed too. I had a migraine and was sensitive to light, so had a bit hard time. If you switch the bathroom light on, the fan comes on too, so can't use that as an alternative. Having a small fridge in the room is great as an idea, but it did get a bit noisy. Perhaps that was there to help with the temperature of the room?
I liked the value of the room and location. Size of the bed was good too. It was nice that I could check in any time. Also great that the towels were provided.

United KingdomShared bathroom, not very friendly reception. The room was quite shabby plaster hanging off the walls. The keys seemed quite stiff in the locks and you could hear other people struggling with their doors all through the night. mattresses very soft.
The location was good, very close to central Hammersmith. The room was relatively quiet and clean. It was cheap.

United KingdomI had either the tea or the kettle in my room, but not the other, I forgot which one it was. I remember thinking that was weird that I couldn't actually make any drinks. I wasn't dying for a tea though so I didn't say anything.
Very quick check in, and very quiet stay. I was surprised how well I slept considering there was still a bit of light coming in the top of the window and I couldn't cover it. I prefer to sleep in darkness and yet I had a really good night sleep. Would stay again.
