Cooked breakfast but disappointing for the price charged. Menu said included mushrooms and I was served one tiny slice of a mushroom. Fried eggs were dried as if been sitting quite a while and then a big pile of streaky bacon way too much for one person. Bar very expensive.

We had booked three rooms, and in one of the smaller rooms, the window blind didn’t fully cover the bedroom window, which meant that there was some light coming through. The hotel does not have any parking, so you will need to park nearby, which can be expensive.

You cannot beat this location just meters away from the top of Princes Street, with easy access to all the major shops, sightseeing destinations, and loads of restaurants both on the street and at St James center right next door. The staff were very attentive. The rooms were large, given the location, quiet as they are double glazed, and very comfortable. Good AC and water etc provided. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and service was excellent, as was the food.

Pool was slightly cold. I wish I had eaten at the hotel but the menu was not very prominent so I didn’t see that there were two bars

Close to the station - with a lift from station level which saved a lot of stairs with my luggage. Quiet room. Quiet pool in the evening for a swim. Very central very friendly and helpful staff

David was upgraded our room to superior. It had beautiful city view. It was very clean and refreshing. Location of the hotel was very closed to everywhere. Restaurant bar also was very good.

Everything was perfect! The bath in the room was lovely. The bed was super comfy! Location was perfect! The spa was a bonus!

We - two couples spent 3 nights in standart rooms in this hotel. Perfect location close to train station and main attractions. Reception did they work excellent: we were offered all that requested such as rooms at higher floors with better views, coffee machine at least in one of rooms. Good breakfast and cleaning services.

Large modern hotel fabulously situated in central Edinburgh. The location is well situated for public transport, dining and entertainment. I upgraded to a duplex suite and this was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The gym was a little disappointing with minimal cardio and strength equipment.

The food was excellent however for some reason the breakfast on Saturday morning was much nicer than Sunday mornings.

Location was excellent, handy access to shops, Rose street bars and restraints. Just a short walk to the royal mile. Staff couldn't do more to help with anything from extra coffee for the room to bus timetables. We used the bar but was a little quite for us.

Excellent hotel with professional set up and service. Excellent location, close to station and many sights. Right next to a large shopping centre and places to eat. Pool/spa area are lovely and a bonus. Cooked veggie breakfast was so much nicer than expected.

The button for the pool jet was very intermittent, I was looking forward to getting jetted by lots of bubbles but sadly it was not to be, the pool was still great given the non working jet.

The room was lovely, my partner and myself received a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival, the staff were amazing, so polite and cannot fault them. We had an evening meal in the hotel restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious and the waiting staff were lovely.

We were just a little disappointed with the view from our room - skips and housing. No-one's fault but it was the one tiny minus point
