We had an amazing stay at Appin Bay View. The owner, Mike, couldn't have been more accommodating. He had lots of tips of what to see and do in the local area, recommendations for the best local restaurants, and was the best host. The accommodation is really convenient for exploring the area around Glencoe and Fort William. The magnificent and breathtaking view from our spacious and comfortable room was the icing on the cake. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Asian breakfast which sets you up for the whole day. Wish we could have stayed longer, but I'm sure that we'll be back again at some point in the future.

First class breakfast. Friendly staff and very helpful owner. The view of Castle Stalker from our bedroom was spectacular and the bed room extremely comfortable. We will recommend Appin Bay View to friends.

Honestly there was nothing that we didn't enjoy regarding our stay.

Excellent breakfast each morning that set us up for the day. I have travelled to the Highlands several times and this was by far the best place I have stayed to date. Mike our host is a true gent who went far beyond our expectations in looking after us and went the extra mile to make our stay gold standard.

Wish we had more time to explore the area!

We had a wonderful stay! We were attending a wedding nearby and stayed here for two nights. Very comfortable, spacious room and wonderful views from the property. Breakfast is great and Mike, the host, is very friendly and helpful. The pub nearby makes for a convenient and delicious dinner option (make sure to book in advance) but be careful when walking there as it's a busy road with no clear footpath.

Homely welcoming this property is in an excellent position with great views. Rooms are spacious with good in room facilities. Our host Mike is great nothing is too much trouble the breakfasts are brilliant you must try his Thai street food version. A truly exceptional experiance at the Appin Bay View provided by an exceptional host, Mike really understands hospatility and delivers it. The room was fantastic with a breathtaking view, two nights really didnt feel like enough. The breakfasts were delicous and substantional, I had the Asian breakfast and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, both were excellent. My partner had the Scottish breakfast twice and declared it was the best bacon she has ever had. The location is brilliant, the view is amazing and the host is exceptional. We are already talking about when we can return.

There was nothing I didn’t like it about it.

We loved EVERYTHING about this property….the room itself was beautifully appointed with some lovely touches and a gorgeous view. The bed, pillows and linen was amazingly comfortable and luxurious - like a 5 star hotel!! The bathroom was massive and the shower itself was awesome with good water pressure and endless hot water. The dining room was beautiful too along with a delicious breakfast with some unique choices. Mike the owner is a standout host - the best by far….full of personality, very knowledgeable, and dare I say it - so loveable…wanted to take him home with me!

This is probably one of the best views we’ve ever had from a room! The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, warm, and inviting. It was unseasonably cold (10C) for early July and the room felt very cozy. The host, Mike, is so friendly, worldly, and knowledgeable! A pleasure to chat with. The breakfasts were delicious and we loved some of the unique options. A great way to start the day and fuel up before hiking the coast or Highlands. We don’t often stay in B&Bs, but this place it truly special and we will definitely be back.

We loved the homey feel of the property and absolutely loved the staff. They were wonderful! It was our honeymoon so they gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room with a beautiful view of Castle Stalker. The breakfast was amazing as well.
