The Hosts were very friendly comfortable room very clean beds are good. Good selection of meals on the menu freshly cooked. Plenty of parking.

Great welcome, friendly staff. The room was quiet, very clean, comfortable and very warm and cosy with easy to control heating. lovely fluffy towels! Free wi-fi too. Lovely location in a very cute village with a view over the village green with hills behind. Parking easy on the street or in the car park at the back.

Only criticism would be we stayed in a room. Over looked the garden noise above when guests walking and heard their toilet flushing I would stay again but another room

I am not a fan of non stop Christmas music but I suppose lots of people do like it. So do carry on!

The hotel was very well equipped with many different spaces to enjoy. All the staff were most helpful and I felt well cared for. The room and all service was excellent.

Some rooms are really very small feels like box rooms in your house and surprisingly, they cost the same as other rooms

Location is okay, I would not say Great and also not bad just a normal road with convenience stores within 3 to 6 mins driving distance. Some rooms are really good specially the premium ones. The food is Great really, the portion size, the taste and the money are all great.

Although the room had no noise from the hotel public areas we did hear guests in the room below us get up early on one of the mornings and they didn’t seem to appreciate how much noise they made. Not something the hotel could really control.

We were very delighted to get a last minute booking for a room over the weekend of a festival in the village. We knew that the attic room had a private bathroom rather than an en suite so although this was not quite so convenient it was exactly as we expected and we loved that this old inn is providing quirky accommodation that is not just like a standard chain hotel. Although the attic room had sloping ceilings it was actually bigger in floor area than we expected. The staff in the hotel were absolutely wonderful from the welcome when we arrived to leaving after our two night stay. We ate in the hotel both nights, joined by friends who were not staying in the hotel. The food was delicious and well cooked. Breakfasts were also excellent and cooked to order. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

The fact that the ensuite for my room was tne floor below my bedroom, and their definition of scrambled eggs didn't match mine.

The staff were all very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean, although a bit dated, but the quality of the food served was exceptional.
