Being in the annex I felt away from the hotel a bit but that was it , apart from maybe an expensive place to stay

Room was smaller then I thought especially for the price I paid.

Location was pleasant. Loved the pool and one of the best steam rooms. Having music on in there is so ambient and makes all the difference.

NO MINIBAR OR FRIDGE IN ROOM

WE had room in Hotel not the annex which we had before, very clean room, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast and free parking. With Pickled Goose Restaurant opposite who do fantastic food.If you want a change.

Cleaner tutted when cleaning the reception area at 9.25, which is breakfast time Older lady at area where cakes were wasn't over friendly when I asked for a glass, said she would when she finished what she was doing I overheard the same lady tell someone they shouldn't have come for breakfast so late, as not everything was available, it was 9.30am. Breakfast finished at 10am! I asked for some chocolate rolls as they had all gone, but the man disappeared, I gave up waiting after 5 minutes

As soon as we got there staff were amazing. Really outgoing, friendly, welcoming. Room was lovely and clean with a nice view. Breakfast was delicious. Leasure facilities were excellent and clean. A lady on the front desk was loveliest person we've ever met at this location and we've been a few times now.

It would have been nice if you could use the pool for longer than 90 minutes.

Staff were incredibly attentive and polite. Great facilities and grounds. The restaurant was fantastic.

Spa is overpriced and someone cleaned around the pool with a deck scrubbing brush and dipped it in the pool water so we didn’t stay in it much longer once we saw that. £20 is a bit too much

We were impressed by the hotel upon arriving especially for what it cost for 2 nights , It seemed good value . However hotel rooms gave off basic motel vibes are were outdated , also bed was on the small side and uncomfortable. We ate in the restaurant for one of the evenings, the food wasn’t the best I’m afraid . We ate steak which were £32 each plus extra £5 for sauce we expected better . Service wasn’t the best , they delivered dessert and I caught the waiter trying to remove a dirt mark off the side of the plate with his finger nail before he placed it on the table . The restaurant had no atmosphere, there was low music on to start with when we arrived then it was turned off for some reason and the few people who were sat in the restaurant were left in an awkward silence , and strange atmosphere where we actually felt uncomfortable sat .

Open longer to use facilities everything shuts off at 8:45/9pm.

Didn’t get breakfast either and was all paid for! Restaurant closed early as ran out of chicken ect so couldn’t choose what I wanted very disappointed and highly expensive for what you get.pool closed too and wasn’t included in price with stay so paid £20 to swim each not fair should be with the stay thanks

Location ok terrible room looking out onto a roof that contained glass bottles and rubbish strewn about..Extra charges for Pool and leisure facilities and even wanted £25 to check in 20 minutes early..drink accessories inadequate in the Room..The only decent thing was a Loverly Sandwich and drinks we had in the bar on arrival ..went out at the evening and it took us and others 10/15 minutes to get back into the carpark through a security gate as Nobody was on Reception time being only 7.30 pm ..We Stay at quite a few hotels due to hospital visits and this one I would rate the worst
