Only staying for 1 night.

We loved relaxing in the reception area with our family, chilling in the comfortable rooms, pampering ourselves with superb massages at the spa, and using the gym, pool, sauna, and steam room. It was so nice to have a restaurant within the hotel too. They served first class meals. A perfect short stay. This was our second visit in a month and we can't wait for our next one.

The only downfall I could think of was that we had room very close to the wedding venue so we had some loud music playing till 12:30 but in the end of the day as a couple we didnt come here only to sleep so it didn't bother us too much, but for someone that comes for a rest I suggest asking for room far away from first floor.

Hotel was very nice on the first floor where we stayed in room number one there was ice machine and fridge with milk which we could use room was nice and clean nicely decorated.will definetly comeback to check how other rooms with a balcony on a separate wing will lool like. As a first impression (thats to the owners) proper reception counter will be much more presentative when first walk in.

Staff were so lovely - they brought my dad a desert with a happy birthday tune for his 80th without us asking. Food was delicious. Spa staff and treatments fab too.

Slight smell on the drains in the room, and the toilet smells from time to time around the building.

The way it was decorated for Christmas is very classy. The smell as you walk in and the layout as everything was easy to find.

The complimentary coffe supplied with breakfast is extremely weak, but they have a Starbucks machine so that's good.

The view from my hotel room was disappointing. Overlooking the roof and car park, I was also disturbed by the constant mechanical whirring of the heating system situated right outside my window The continental breakfast wasn't great... the hotel was quite empty on my first night so I imagine they had limited supplies in stock

The staff were very friendly especially Simran, the young lady working in the restaurant I appreciated the ice maker and little bottles of milk in the fridge The spa was great The Lancashire rarebit I had in the restaurant at lunchtime was delicious. Well-presented and good value for money

Booked a twin room, sent up to room and it was set up as a double, waited 45 minutes for them to change this to a twin, staff really couldn’t give a toss we were just sat waiting to go to the room.

No atmosphere. Bed was very uncomfortable. Staff were not friendly. Ate in the restaurant where food was below average & service was not the best although it was quiet.

Everything was absolutely fine, again we didn’t use the spa , we will be returning and stay a bit longer to make use of the restaurant and spa facilities , the gardens were very nice we just needed a bit better weather to enjoy them

Our room was very cramped, a four foot six bed and only 15ins gap between my side and the wall. Should have been clear in the advert about the size of bed and room.
