We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomIt’s wasn’t clean, main light didn’t work, not enough towels or toilet roll, dust everywhere, dirty kettle and mugs, plaster coming off the walls, hair in the plug hole in the sink. Filthy and appalling. Emailed and have heard nothing and have even reached out to booking.com and they are also taking ages to compensate me.

United KingdomTook quite a long time too get a pint but I understand they are busy with cleaning rooms the bed was uncomfortable but they had a woman singer on in the night that was the brilliant the food was brilliant the only thing I could fault was the bed wasn’t comfortable but if you have a few pints you won’t know anyways there’s a nice pool table we will be back again in the future

United StatesWhile the bed was comfortable, the sheets and towels were clean, and the shower was hot, the room was a shabby hot mess - like something out of the 60's that hadn't been updated or refreshed since...two lamps with no bulbs, ceiling fixture with a nightlight bulb and full of dead bugs, dingy walls with marks and dings everywhere, and we didn't dare walk on the carpet without shoes. The kitchen was closed both nights we stayed, so we had to travel somewhere else for a meal. It definitely was not worth anywhere near the price. The whole place needs a serious renovation. I

Holes in walls wallpaper hanging off the walls, bathroom tiles missing and remaining falling off. By far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We booked 2x rooms and really wish we hadn't. Never had any issues with booking.com.before really hope our booking I August is nothing kile this.
