Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIf you have difficulty with stairs it would pay to tell the hotel. They are quite steep.
Comfortable room and public areas. Owners and staff welcoming and friendly, particularly towards our dog. Special arrangements were made so we could have her with us whilst we ate. The bar is cozy with several interesting cocktails available. The food at dinner was really delicious. Breakfast was also very good. The information pack was one of the best we have seen.

United KingdomWe had both an evening meal and breakfast and both were very good. I liked that fact that produce was locally sourced. The local beer was very nice and the Burgers from the local butcher made for a nice meal. I would recommend this

United KingdomIt had a very cosy friendly feeling, didn’t get the name of the gentleman who checked me and my mum in (thinking either Jon or Huw) but he was lovely and helpful - even though it was quite late by the time we got there due to sightseeing! Had a great nights sleep, shower, and breakfast. No faults at all.

United KingdomI mean the decor its self is a little dated , not run down or left to rot , just dated. However I'm sure to alot of people this adds to the character of this lovely hotel.
The staff were quite litrally amazing from the moment we stepped foot on the property. Food has been fantastic and the prices are very competitive for what you find on the llyn.

United KingdomThe weather: it couldn't have been any worse but the accommodation more than compensated!
Was upgraded from a single room to a beautiful double room with en suite so full marks from me! Breakfast was freshly cooked with proper portions and well tasty! If you don't want to eat on the premises, there's a nice chippy about 200 yards down the road. Room price was fair for this time of year and good value all told.

United KingdomThe room was very small, decoration and furniture was a little dated. Polyester sheets! Banged my head on the way down the stairs, I’m not tall and there was no warning.

United KingdomWe stayed in a nice sized double bedroom. It would have been more appealing if we didn't have to strain our eyes to watch what seems like either a 19 or 21 inch television! Mother-in-law stayed in a single room with a 36 inch television. Seems a bit odd.
The room was very clean and inviting. The en suite bathroom was excellent.

A gem of a hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. Bedrooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant is high end, but at a reasonable price. Location fab within walking distance to coastal path and famous Nefyn golf club, Ty Coch pub. We will definitely return and recommend to others. Thanks Huw and team for a wonderful stay.

Every part of our stay was amazing. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean... little touches like the usb charging down to the not using single use plastic in the bathroom. We had a lovely vegan dinner and vegan breakfast and we were really touched with the little extra breakfast treat that was brought out for our fur babies Florence and Fig. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. We really can't recommend this place enough
