Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Not the easiest place to find as it's set back behind a street, torrential rain was hitting my phone as I was trying to use g-maps. The staff harass you with text messages asking you exactly when you are arriving more than any other place I've stayed in. STOP THAT, IT'S ANNOYING! GUESTS AREN'T ALWAYS ABLE TO PREDICT WHEN THEY WILL ARRIVE, AND THEY ARE TRYING TO FIND THE PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF BEING HARASSED BY YOUR TEXT MESSAGES!!! IT'S VERY RUDE AND ANNOYING!!
Near the mountains. Nice commons area. German ladies had a good crazy sense of humour. Nice books in the room, some a bit weird.

We wanted a cheap place to sleep after a long journey in the area. Staff was very friendly, the showers and toilets were recently renovated, it has free WiFi , a kitchen, a lounge, parking outside and many more.

The other guests. Checked out after 3 hours. Smelly group of males barged in late evening. One farted and stank the room out. I packed up and shipped out. Hostel life ain't for me.

Too few bathrooms/toilets, no lockers, no bed side lamp.
Good alternative if there’s no bed available in Fort William. Close to the train station and the bus stop. But the supermarket is a bit far. Clean kitchen, nice lounge and friendly staff.

Not fault of hostel but be aware that public transport from fort william to the place is quite limited and buses are not on time. One of the showers doesn't have hot water, told staff and was told it will be checked, other ones were fine.
Place is clean and staff is very nice and helpful.

There was a little bit noisy in the night (we heard every door slam). The breakfast wasn't worth its price.

Um.....the stairs at the end of a day's walking?! Only joking...
Very convenient location for the train, food etc Very welcoming & friendly. Very clean & comfortable. We didn't eat there or cook but used the kitchen for tea, coffee etc and loved the idea of 'free' food that had been left rather than wasting it. All the recycling too! Not everywhere does this. Oh, and the view from the bedroom - can't beat it!

The man on reception was very helpful and explained everything fully. The hostel itself was very clean, however my duvet did have a couple of large brown stains (possibly beer/coffee) which I didn't notice until I took the cover off in the morning otherwise I may have mentioned it. I am sure it would have been remedied quickly. Kitchen facilities were great. Plenty of cutlery, plates etc. We made our own breakfast but the hostel do have an offering. Location good, we walked to the Moorings for dinner, only 5 minutes away. Only 10 minutes drive from the base of Ben Nevis.

Not so much about the property. But because it is a shared space it really is a hit and miss depending on who you stay with. On the first night I slept really and all my roommates I with really considerate. The second night however was a snore fest.
Location wise it is only 10-15 minutes drive to fort Williams train station. It has all the amenities you really need e.g., kitchen, laundry machine(pay to use), toilets, dining, lounge area, and a warm bed to sleep.

I wish there'll be a few more cupboards and more choices for breakfast as only cereal, some food and pre-packed pastries were available. Also it gets very humid during the night.
The receptionist was very friendly. We had a warm welcome and quick check in. The rooms were of a good size with beds, chairs and a table. Kitchen was well equipped and showers were in good condition.

The room only had a single plug socket so bring a multi point connector for charging multiple devices.
Ample kitchen facilities to prepare breakfast. Bunk beds were better than expected.

The location is quite far from Fort William. It's about an hours walk.
Room was clean and spacious. The bathrooms were clean too. Staff was really nice and helpful. The shared areas were nice and clean too.

No concerns or complaints - exactly what we needed for our weekend climbing Ben Nevis. Would definitely stay again. Great VFM and handy for Fort William.
Room nice and clean, beds comfortable, great view of Ben Nevis from our window. We had the breakfast on the Sunday of our stay which was great with lots of options. Hostel kitchen well kitted out and everything was well labelled for ease of use of the facilities. Nice lounge and plenty of key info visitors will need on display. Chap on reception was polite and helpful on every interaction. Plenty of showers to use which are shared between all the visitors - never any issue finding one to use when we needed it.

A bit off but it comes with a price. Cheap price because it is a bit off. But! There was a pub/restaurant only 5-10 minutes walk away so food and beer was quite near. There should be a sign on the building telling that this is Chase The Wild Goose.
I liked how I was welcomed. Good information from the staff member. Basic breakfast but it was a buffet which was good.
