Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

breakfast not the best and only opened at 8am on the weekend i was there. Had an early flight so was a rush. Place was a bit of a warren - hundreds of corridors. I came home smashed and got lost trying to find my room!
Location is excellent - short walk to london bridge train station. staff super friendly room was nice - comfy bed and powerful shower very clean decent value for money

Nice spacious modern room, comfortable bed, good shower, brilliant location. Only things I don’t like are the cafe of too small and busy to work. There is no toilet on the same floor as reception / cafe. There is no security on the doors to the building and no reception staff. The breakfast was average.

No variety at breakfast, a little bit uninspired. They require a deposit upfront and, after almost one month, we haven't received our deposit back, plus there were extra charges on items that we didn't even consume.
The room was comfy - It was a Queen Superior room, a little bit dark though. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

Not much Matt my expectations
Used before- good location and nice rooms A no fuss base, but doesn’t feel cheap or too OTT. Pre check in did not work but that was not a problem, as staff are very friendly and got sorted. I would use again better than a number of the UK budget brand also much more reliable than some of the other cheaper options in London. Everything is clean comfortable well designed and is a great base for being in London

Our stay was very pleasant, location is perfect (in front of the Leadenhall Market). All staff was very friendly, breakfast was ok. Our room exceeded our expectations, everything was very clean. All floors have refillable water bottles, what was really a bonus point for us. Good value for price.

Pillows provided were not very comfortable. Door has got too much of space from the ground and hence light for coming directly in the face. Also early morning inly it started with thudding sound since 6am.

It’s a boutique hotel. The location is amazing. The rooms are small but they have everything you need. The staff is super friendly! We really appreciated that there are refillable water bottles on every floor. Not related, but the coffee at the ground floor is really good!

I found the wifi to be weak at times.
This is probably the biggest room I've lived in a hotel in London, and this was great value for money. The cafe in the hotel was really nice for breakfast. Staff was super helpful, check-in and check out was easy. The location was super convenient if you have things to do in the bank area.

Staff were super friendly on check in/out, helping with the process. It's in a great location, right opposite Leadenhall Market. Brekkie was good; in the Goucho Grill downstairs!
