Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe £15 breakfast. Very over priced, which is given the price of the rooms is unnecessary - felt like a rip off.

United KingdomI wish they had a loyalty scheme! The mattresses could be a bit better but they are fine.
The refurbished rooms are very smart and there is a great desk area. The lobby is lovely since the hotel was refurbished. It is very convenient for my work nearby and it is on the route of the 4A bus which takes you to the town centre, or Wokingham and Reading in the other direction. There is loads of parking. The staff are always very pleasant; - I have stayed here several times.

United KingdomCouldn’t seem to get the heater/air conditioner to work correctly. So the room was warm, and couldn’t cool it enough. Would’ve been better with a fan.
The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious and the large shower was wonderful. The breakfast was great!

United KingdomI am not a big fan of buffet breakfasts where hot food is concerned. On this stay the hotel was not busy and whilst the hot food was plentiful on the buffet, it has probably been sitting under the hot lamps for a while and the food was quite cold and pretty unpleasant to eat. I think if turnover is low the hotel would be better off offering an individually freshly cooked breakfast. It was not obvious to me that this was available as an option?
I have stayed at the Coppid Beech several time for business and it is my go to Hotel in the Bracknell Area. The hotel has an Alpine theme with an open plan, spacious feel to it. The rooms are quite large, well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is modern and seems to be well maintained. I always ask for a quiet room and the team are always very accommodating and the rooms at the back are indeed very quiet. There is a good gym and a pool at the hotel which is a bonus. There are tea/coffee making facilities in the room, comfy bed, a good shower and the WiFi works well based on my experience. The hotel is good value for money and there is really little to fault, certainly for a 1 or 2 night stay.

United KingdomThere were deliveries quite early in the morning and where my room was located meant that I could hear a bit of banging and crashing. Just had to shut the window.
Checked in after a business meeting, and the reception staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was comfy, bright and cozy. Good selection of TV channels, slept well, nice hot shower and the breakfast was well stocked and very tasty. Unfortunately I didn't get to use the leisure facilities but from the pics the pool looked very welcoming.

United KingdomThe swimming pool area. I felt it was very outdated. It was quite noisy in the room, I could hear the people directly above and traffic outside the front of the hotel. We'd definitely ask for a back room next time.
Lovely looking hotel from outside. Inside it was very elegant as soon as you stepped in the doors. The huge fish tank was a big hit with my children who enjoyed going to each of the 4 floors to view them. We stayed in room 106 and it was such a lovely surprise to have such a large room for a family. 3 different places to eat which was good and the food was lovely. Breakfast was a very relaxed atmosphere and well stocked. We'd definitely like to return.
