Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomWhilst comfortable enough. It is a little dated. The bar also shut at 10pm. The shower in our room was old and probably needed replacing years ago. Staff were fantastic and the hotel was really clean. Room was also very warm and even with the old ac unit it did not cool down.

United KingdomAs long as you just want a base then the Copthorne Tara is ok. On check in, this was later in the day we found that our bed for our daughter had not been placed in the room and we had to wait for one to be delivered. The hallway smelt of curry type food after plates and bags of food were left outside of people’s rooms for long periods of time. No lift to the garage under the hotel. But the room was clean and situated in a fabulous area. Definitely not 4 stars.

United KingdomI booked a double room with an additional bed and upgraded to a superior room. The staff kindly let us check in early and bought the bed in after. The room was really quite small though and I don't know what it would have been like with an additional bed in a standard double. There is a weird air con/ heating unit under the window which is very loud. The rooms are tired and old fashioned but clean and relatively comfortable. The location is good, couple of minutes to kensignton high st tube and shops. The lighting was difficult to work out and I did end up using my torch to go to the bathroom in the night because there is no separate bathroom only light I could find.

United KingdomShower gel hadn’t been replenished. Very frustrating as obviously didn’t know til in shower ! Main thing however. Asked for oat milk In room for tea/coffee as daughter doesn’t drink cows milk. The reception initially said it could be provided and offered to bring up. But they failed to do so. No one answered the phone either on phoning reception or room services so gave up. On check out when I raised this I was told they don’t provide any other non cows milk for the room which is very surprising even if someone is allergic to cows milk. This I find absolutely astonishing. Surely this cannot be right?
Breakfast ok. We didn’t know as not advertised you could get some individual things like poached eggs until too late. More info would have been useful.

United Kingdomlovely helpful concierge, very friendly receptionist. ovrall good, however, the TV randomly turned itself on 3 times overnight and woke me up, and a mini fridge in the room was very loud and unable to unplug. Shower over bath quite small. TV is a smart TV but unable to log in to own nteflix account, etc, only regular TV or Google cast.
