United KingdomOur room should have had a garden view but there was a marquee outside the window which blocked the view entirely. The corner shower left not much room to stand between the washbasin and the shower. Unfortunately the water for the shower was not working and the handle to the bathroom was hanging off. The receptionist said he would organise for the maintenance person. On our return the maintenance man had not been so we had another upgrade to a suite next door. I think this room is on the refurbish list as the decor was looking tired and the fabric on the arm of the sofa bed was frayed. My husband and I both think that the quality of the food at breakfast was poor but there were plenty of options. The second morning we just had cereal, yoghurt and toast. The meat and cheese for the continental breakfast were curling up on the plate. The service flow was not smooth e.g. you would go to one table to get your cereal, then to the fridge for milk (but there was nowhere to put your bowl whilst you poured your milk on). Then the tea and coffee was placed in a corner further away so it was another trip back to the fridge for milk. There was only filter coffee or tea. I would expect there to be a coffee machine offering a variety of options. There was a choice of juice in the fridge but the glasses were hard to find. Outside the gardens had lots of cigarette ends on the floor and empty bottles in the planters and by the cars. Lack of attention to detail.
On arrival we were given an upgrade as the hotel was quiet. The room was mostly clean and comfortable. It looked like the shower room had been upgraded recently with a corner shower. We had a 2nd upgrade to a suite next door. This was very spacious and comfortable and had a bath with overhead shower. Good location, only a 15 minute walk to the bus stop to get into Bradford.

PolandLift did not work. Only 2 floors but there were still a lot stairs to walk up with suitcases. I suppose if we asked staff might have helped us? Not something we didn't like just unfortunate situation there was no hot water in shower. Took until our 3rd night for it to be sorted(we moved rooms). Reception staff did try to get it fixed. I think rating of 6 is a little harsh.
With a car the location was ideal. Staff were very helpful when we had an issue.

Great location, lovely hotel with bags of potential, quiet and really lovely staff. Great evening meal in the restaurant - brilliant value for money. Quiet hotel - good nights sleep. Plenty if sockets in the room for charging the essentials. Loads of parking.

United KingdomWe’ve stayed here a few times and always enjoyed it. On arrival on Friday there was a very large wedding on. The guests were unruly and wild, children running around everywhere, smoking (the fire alarm went off at one point!). We had prebooked a table in the restaurant but when going for a drink at the bar on arrival we decided to go to the local pub instead. It would have been good for us to be pre-warned about the wedding before we booked. We didn’t go down to breakfast due to a lots of the wedding guests staying over and wanted to avoid them. We went out for the day on Saturday and on returning, the car park was strewn with empty bottles and rubbish and some of the wedding guests were still there.. the staff had to call the police to remove them due to them being loud and unruly and aggressive.
The room was lovely and the receptionist was friendly and chatty. Staff were so busy and looked stressed with the situation which was out of their control. Although the music was loud, it finished at 11.30 so didn’t bother us.

AustraliaDay one, the chef was sick, and there was no breakfast service. Day two, went for breakfast. The chef is also the waiter. Not much left on offer to try, poor guy was overworked. It's definitely not worth the £15 paid for breakfast. Tried the restaurant in the evening. With 4 people in the restaurant, it still took 45 minutes for my meal to arrive. The room was very dated, lift does not work, and the pillows are rock hard. My tip, bring your own pillow.
Cheap and cheerful is probably the best way to describe this venue.

United KingdomUnfortunately, the lift was out of order when we arrived. This is just one of those things, but there was no offer to have our luggage taken to the rooms. Breakfast was served with turkey bacon and beef sausages, neither of which I am particularly fond. Had I known that this was going to be the case, I would not have booked breakfast; instead, I would have traveled to a cafe or farm shop for breakfast and most likely saved money as well.
The hotel was very modern and clean. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the staff very friendly. The public spaces were very attractive and well looked after. Very good on-site parking.
