The bathroom door wouldn't close because of the flooring so had to remain fairly wide open - not ideal for a bathroom really.

Just a few criticisms.. the TV ariel in the room was glitchy on every channel. The finish on the room in some areas were a bit poor ie skirting boards in corner were off the wall. Rooms were a bit hot could open windows but was very noisy as being on a main road.location was fantastic self check in was great bed was comfy..would stay again but I don't think would pay what we payed unless room was up to standard.

This hotel is unstaffed and therefore maybe not the place for you if looking for a breakfast. A little difficult getting up the stairs if you have a large case as there is no lift but otherwise a comfortable stay.

Location is very central and easy to get to and from on foot if arriving by rail. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The showers are also a good size, not the usual curtain in a bath tub I usually find.

I didn't feel particularly safe there. It felt a bit dodgy not going through a hotel reception.

It's not really a hotel. It was a room that was accessed via metal outdoor stairs.

The road noise was loud and almost constant all night, so I slept badly… The window blinds were a bit ‘tired’ and a bit worn.

The room was stylish and very clean. Good central location. Great tv and good tea tray supplies. It was warm and cosy.

Finding the key box in the dark was tricky. I didn’t like that all room keys were in the same box.

The shower stopped working/ ran out of water part way through second travellers shower. We left early as unable to get it working. We didn’t ask for a room change or contact property as late at night.

Our room was at the back of the hotel, and the vehicles in the business behind started up in the early hours which caused disturbed sleep. It may have been an odd day occurrance? It sounded like a large bin truck being started and intermittently turned off.

The bathroom was cold at night and the far window was rattling and wasn't very secure and able to keep heat in and the corner lamp kept flicking randomly if on for more than a few minutes

Alarm went off at 10.45pm. I called the emergency number and had to leave a message on voicemail. The very loud alarm stopped after 20 minutes. If the number is for emergency , I expect someone to answer or at least get back to me as soon as possible- this did not happen. I didn't sleep well due to being anxious about the alarm going off again. Also the room was too hot clitheroe no ventilation- the roof window could not be opened due to heavy rain.

Lighting very poor. USB by the bed is in the base of a lamp so only works if the lamp is on. Mirror in the bathroom just about useless, so the window is over the sink and the mirror is on your right, not much good for shaving.

Location good, near the train station and town centre. Kitchen utensils hardly ever used, so look like new.
