Shared bathrooms were not clean enough. Also I could not open the window entirely only from up and window was not clean I could not enjoy with the view. Location was in between good or bad. If you walk to old town it takes 20min but if you take bus it take 15 min. Students were a bit noisy even in the night time.

Room was big enough for short staying. View in front of my window was so nice but I could not open the window totally only from up part it was not nice. Workers were so nice and 7-24 open reception was so nice. The best thing for this staying was amazing breakfast experience. I really love the breakfast. Definitely good day start with this breakfast. It was also nice to stay with student energy in the campus.

A bit warm in the rooms. A fan would be helpful.

The location was superb -- right by Holyrood Park and Arthur's seat. It's a university dorm, so expect simplicity. It was clean and the included breakfast was substantial. One of our party had to take an online exam the day we were checking out and the staff came up with a creative solution for her.

The rooms are a bit small, but that’s to be expected of university dormitories.

Good breakfast, decent accommodations, clean rooms, and the university is less than half an hour away from the city centre by bus.

Our room, as requested, was far away from the rooms of the many teenagers who were staying in the building. However, the kids liked to roam the halls and were whooping and hollering and chanting right outside our door. And the food deliveries arrived early (6 AM) every morning right below our window, consistently waking us up and keeping us awake.

We liked being on campus, the room was well equipped and met our needs perfectly. The breakfast was great! We were close enough for my limber daughter to explore the old city on foot and it was a great place to get an Uber for her less nimble mother. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ensuite was quite dated and felt a bit unclean. Location is a bit of a ways from center but quite a hilly walk to get to, which meant taking cabs.

Staff were friendly and helpful and property was generally quiet.

It was very busy with lots of large groups. I was staying in chancellor court facing the main area behind reception. Groups gathered during the night (4am) to catch early flights for example and the noise from their chatting and laughing echoed. Rooms at back of building quieter where I moved to as a result. Beds too hard for me.

Fantastic breakfast. Value for money. All staff that I met (reception and breakfast) were very friendly and approachable. Lovely location next to Arthur's Seat.

Curtains have poor shading and affect sleep; some distance from tourist attractions in Edinburgh. When we stayed, there was a student study tour, which was noisy at night (the room was generally soundproof)

Most noteworthy is a buffet (English) breakfast; the room is the standard university dormitory, more comfortable to live. Good safety.

The Wifi wasn't great. Very slow and not secure. I have a VPN so for me it was fine, but not everyone does. Given the price paid, a secure and fast WiFi is a minimum

The breakfast was perfect. You can really fuel for the day. The presence of a little shop on site is also a great thing. It can be life saving if you have a little hunger but don't want to pay a restaurant !

Shower grouting needs to be replaced.

My daughter spent her first year in Chancellors Court so we knew what to expect. The room was a generous sized twin with basic facilities which did include comfortable beds, en-suite, tea making facilities. Breakfast was great!
