You could here everything, including doors closing in the middle of the night.

The breakfast was incredible. A lot of variety and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

    Materesses a little more comfortable.

Very good breakfast and easy access to fringe sites, town and Arthurs seat. We were able to find parking place and leave car in the campus and walk to old Edingburgh.

    See above

The room was v expensive for very basic mattress and narrow bed. I would expect more comfort for that price The check in staff were great. But the staff at building reception were miserable. The breakfast was utilitarian. The hot food was boiled and warm, bread ghastly Fruit choice good.

the only thing I didn’t like was the shower. it’s mounted to the wall so you can’t wash your bits.

it’s quiet and the staff are lovely. Beds really comfortable and great location. breakfast nice too.

The room wasn't cleaned properly. The bed had no headrest and is in an odd position away from the wall so you can't sit up in bed to read or whatever you want to do before you crash. The showers are really tiny and awkward to access.

It's very good value for money . The breakfast is excellent. The location is lovely.

Rooms too warm, corridors even warmer, lots of lights left on in corridors, even during the day, all wasting energy. Not sure if you are allowed to use communal fridges in kitchen, if yes make it clear that you can.

Breakfast is excellent, the room was clean and had everything needed, I like the location because it close enough for centre of city, good transport, quiet and beautiful back drop of Arthur's seat.

Our room was next to the lifts which meant constant noise from early morning on. The room was never serviced so we had to go on a hunt for fresh towels if we needed them.

Only minor point queue for special coffee machines in the morning quite longs as one or more often broke. Happy though with standard coffee or Tea. Only other issue before has been inability and therefore uncertainty to park on site. Appreciate limited and site does not wish to encourage but when so many staff spaces free it does not seem impossible to sublet these with staff agreement during the fringe season.

All in room and Breakfast and especially hot powerful shower all great.

Only thing for us was that we'd asked for ground floor as had disabled friend. It was ground floor but almost the furthest room from the entrance. And there were lifts anyway. For a disabled person a room nearer the entrance would have been helpful.

Visiting the Fringe. Very good value. Good location. Extensive good breakfast included,as was parking ( if you arrived early - limited placed. ) Staff friendly and efficient. Great buzz.
