The room was very dark and dingy looking, in need of updating with regards to decor, the beds werent very comfortable, pillows were flat and had no substance.

The staff were very attentive and friendly The location was lovely and within easy reach of most of the main attractions The parking was included which was a nice surprise and there was plenty of spaces There was a great selection for breakfast and the facilities in the restaraunt were spacious

you can tell its a well used student halls! but it was clean. would have been nice to have access to common rooms as there is nowhere to sit in the rooms.

great value compared to city centre hotels, half an hour walk from royal mile or less than £10 in a taxi. fab views of the crags!

The accommodation was dirty The bathroom had mould around the shower screen There was a wooden board that was damp and dirty The bedding was inadequate There were only 2 tea bags in the room and when I asked for more the staff said they didn't have any. They would get some but I asked every day for 3 days and was told they still didn't have any. In the end I asked why someone had not gone out to buy some at the sops. They had no answer for that.

The grounds are lovely and Arthurs restaurant is brilliant. Staff did their best The breakfasts were hearty and plenty of it. Although queuing was a bit irritating and it was very noisy because of the amount of people in the room

My room was not very comfortable for the money, the TV was small and old with poor reception. The room was tired, and needs updating. Expensive bar. Lack of staff, and using a robot instead was a little gimmicky. A bit chaotic at breakfast.

everything was great for me, the location is a bit out of the city center, but I love walking and also used the bus

I was so happy with my stay here. The room and breakfast and Uni in general were all fantastic. I was so comfortable and felt very safe. I had a great view of Arthur's Seat from my room. The whole experience exceeded my expectations for sure. It was fun to feel like I was back in my college days!

Students accommodation over charged for summer. Sheets and room very plain and basic.

Good location. The breakfast was good in abundance. Place is very spacious buses access to the center. The Arthur’s seat is near the hotel.

The door is not sound proof, sometime when the neighbors close the door too vigorously, we can hear it.

The campus and students dorm are beautiful, the breakfast is good. Good value of money for staying during the fringe month. Many fringe and tattoo performers are also staying in the dorms, I am lucky to meet and be able to speak with some of them.

There wasn't anything that wasn't great.

The breakfast was wonderful. It had a great selection, something for everyone and being included with the room booking was a Big Bonus. It was the best breakfast that we were offered through out our 2 weeks of travel. The rooms were clean and quiet. The housekeeping staff we met in the halls every morning were very friendly along with the wonderful check in staff and the ability to leave our luggage was also a big plus!! We had booked 3 rooms in total, our room was on the first level and looked out over the bridge walk way to the entrance. I would highly recommend these accommodations for anyone looking for good value for their money.
