    I have been in other student accommodations and this one was great. The room was clean and with a view over the hills. The breakfast was AMAZING. The shared bathroom was clean and so was the showers. Great experience at a great price, would recommend

    Great that 2 towels and a quality bathmat are provided but this would have been useful information to include in the email as if I had known I wouldn't have packed one on limited suitcase space. No hairdryer provided but I belive you could request one from reception, I bought my own with me so that wasn't an issue. Hard to find any faults with such good value accommodation. Kettle would have been a bonus.

    Amazing breakfast with wide selection which fueled me for a day of exploring beautifull Edinburgh! I felt safe as a solo traveller that the reception centre is open 24/7. It was amazing to hear the bagpipes and marching band who were also staying and rehearsing at the University, it really gave me an authentic Scottish experience! Lovely views of arthurs seat from campus and useful to have a shop and restaurant on site. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent value for money considering it being prime festival season and expensive alternative accommodation. Will be back!

    The campus offers great breakfast even though it's pretty busy during the festival season. Having the bus couple of minutes away you can easily get to the city center.

    Staff are rude and irresponsible. They need professional training. A female staff checked me into block C, but she gave me wrong information and misguided me to A, I spent a lot of time exploring the whole building but couldn’t find my room. I had to brought all my luggage to reception center again to ask for help. She realized she made a mistake and just told me “oh, sorry, it’s block C.” When I finally got into my room, I was thirsty and the first thing I wanted to do is making tea. I discovered kettle was very dirty stained by oil inside, I washed it clean but discovered it didn’t work. So I went the reception center again to ask for a replacement. I was refused by the same female staff. I insisted that I need drink after a long journey. She reported this issue to her supervisor who suggested me to use the kettle in common room. After living two nights, when I checked out, another female staff said I didn’t pay and I said “I paid when I checked in and I put my receipt into rubbish bin in the room. Please give me the room key and I will get it to show you.” I carried my luggage back and forth between two buildings. However, the key she gave to me didn’t work because she already checked me out on the system. Finally I have to show her my bank statements in order to prove that I had paid. I felt to be bullied instead of being served.

    Good location, nice window view, spacious room, and delicious breakfast

    We waited a long time to retrieve our luggage from storage. They were busy and had only one person at the desk. Two people were in the office and I asked if we could get some help. The manager was on her computer and said they were busy and would help in a few minutes. I thought that was rude. The other woman jumped up to help.

    It was beautiful. The rooms were nice. Breakfast was stellar!

    Breakfast was good in choice but exceptionally noisy and crowded. (Think just August in Edinburgh) Door hinges could be adjusted to stop slamming.

    Nice location outside of the business of the city centre and right next to Arthur’s seat.

    very far away from city centre (30 mins walk); noisy, from trolley cases running over the wooden entrance lane, from people walking in the corridor and from slamming doors, all from early in the morning until late at night; breakfast was fine but extremely crowded; room is very basic and a bit worn; no cleaning service and beds were not made - a shocking fact for 170€ a night; room was quite hot although it wasn't warm outside and the window was open (as far as it was possible however) the whole time; a complete rip off for this price imho;

    friendly staff;
