We are happy with the property. The coffee machine wasn’t working but the owner did let us know in advance. The only small thing is there is only one bathroom for a group of 5 people so there could be a wait in the morning. But for what we paid it’s still very good value!

This is exactly what we ask for! Good location and we all enjoyed the stay. It has a proper kitchen and the beds are comfy. The owner is very responsive in communication

Beautiful house in a fantastic location. Spotlessly clean. We loved our stay at Eileen View - thank you. The alcove bed was a brilliant addition, particularly since both our kids preferred to sleep upstairs, but the mattress could have been comfier. The house was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The views were stunning.

Fantastic cottage right by a free carpark. Facilities were spot on. Provided tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, washing machine, tumble drier etc. beds were really comfy. Place was spotless. Would highly recommend!

Unable to open bathroom window for ventilation. Head of double bed smelt a bit of damp.

Convenient location, close to amenities and with fabulous views of Holy Isle. House was more spacious than expected, clean, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. Extra toilet downstairs made all the difference for 6 adults sharing.

Nothing really. For some people the stairs might be a bit steep, but we had no problems.

The cottage was located in the centre of the town/ village with excellent access to the shops the facilities. The view of the Holy Isle from the front of the house was magnificent. The house itself was compact but well looked after and had most things that you would expect.

Not really a dislike but there were a few leaving chores to be done before 10am and the property was at about the same price point as hotels on the mainland

The shower was upstairs meaning our older relatives didn't have access due to the steepness of the stairs. However, before we arrived the owners had warned there were steep steps in the property so this issue is highlighted before people travel which is good. I think we just misunderstood and thought the main bathroom with shower facilities was downstairs!

The area, the view, most of the facilities, bed comfiness, various duvet togs available for guests to suit everyone. Large kitchen area which is fully kitted out. Nice home-like atmosphere and very easy to feel comfortable in the property. Very close to several hotels and cafes and only 10 mins from Brodick.

The house is well equipped, clean and pleasant. The location is stunning with a great view of holy isle and it is also perfectly situated for shops, pubs restaurants and public transport. An ideal base for exploring Arran, especially without a car.

Switch on table lamp not working, lock on back door very stiff and difficult to lock. Steep stairs could be difficult for older people.

Only 1 bathroom was not sufficient at times. Stairs very steep ( especially after climbing Goatfell!!). One of sofas very soft! Double room upstairs very small and cluttered - would be better without large chair in it. No hanging space.

cleanliness - dead fly on floor of toilet, egg shells still in recycling bin. Didn't like being expected to remove bedding. Also had to wash up by hand for some of the time as only two dishwasher tablets were provided and we had to buy additional toilet rolls. Downstairs bedroom is very claustrophobic.
