Didn’t dislike anything, but surprised there wasn’t a lift to the 1st floor. We didn’t need it - just being lazy - but for others?

Being a bit picky, having booked the rooms and restaurant as a family and having one large table, it was a little disappointing that the hotel hadn"t placed us on a, table to sit together for breakfast. The One helpful member of staff serving did her best to accommodate us at adjacent tables. Saturday evening, there was some distant noise nuisance from set of boy racers, screeching tyres and revving engines...seemed to be doing timed laps. To be fair this wasn"t an issue to us, but if you are looking for absolute peace and tranquillity, it may be for you. The hotel cant mitigate against this, a matter for the police?

We travelled as a family and booked 4 rooms. These were adjacent to each other, staff catered for young children brilliantly. A number of the party had allergy food issues, again information, guidance etc were addressed by staff. A convenient location near Ironbridge . Rooms were comfortable, air conditioned and very clean. We ate in the restaurant adjacent to hotel that evening which was an enjoyable and tasty experience. Staff were sublime, even serving our own birthday cake(allergens) to the table. Breakfast the following morning was delightful, tasty and plentiful. I have no reservations in recommending this hotel and restaurant to anyone .

For us breakfast service didn’t start early enough, but that wasn’t a major issue. A little noisy due to some kind of car meet, but again we arrived late and it was over by the time we turned in for the night. No soap in the bathroom.

Great value for money for a family of 4 on a Uni visit. Basic, but more than adequate for an over night stay, would certainly consider using this Marston Inn again in the future.

Overnight stop to break up a long journey. Basic, but quiet and comfortable hotel, with a pub/restaurant across the car park. Comfy beds and a good, although slightly pricey breakfast

Hotel in an industrial park close to main road, lots of traffic noise at night. Reception not really a proper reception, nobody there as we arrived and the lady who did come was later cleaning tables in pub so they clearly multitask and are busy. Wasn't very welcoming. Room ok, quite big and clean enough. No water in room but there is a garage behind hotel If you need supplies (as well as a Burger King/Greggs etc) . Overall, cheap stay that's clean and tidy and handy for a quick visit to Telford .

Nice pub across from hotel - good breakfast! Gets very busy with local people, especially on Saturday but staff nice and food good.

Not a problem specific to this venue- one I have found at all similar places (Travel Lodge/Premier Inn etc) is that the Room Door Closers are really powerful and the Digital CArd Swipe Locks make a real racket when operated- so you can hear other Guests Arriving late or Departing early - no matter how hard the Guests try to do this quietly. Not sure if the Management have any chance of improving this- its a design fault.

The Rooms are about 50 metres from the Pub . Its a standard Motel setup. The Room was very comforatble- excellent matress/pillows. Shower was hot and powerful. Had own Wall mounted thermostat to change room temperature. TV Worked. Free WiFi. Daytime Checkin Staff Very Friendly and Welcoming. Spent the Evening in the Pub- Some Great Marstons Beers- Had a Meal as Well. Pub Staff Very Friendly/Polite and efficient. Returned to the Pub next morning for Breakfast- Table Service from Different Staff (but equally polite and friendly). The place is of fairly new build. Across the Road is a Out of Town Shopping Estate with Supermarket, Starbucks, Greggs, McD etc. Location is excellent for exploring Shrewsbury (30mins away by Car) and Ironbridge Museums (10mins away by car). Ground floor rooms appear good for Wheelchair Access. Room and Bathroom was spotless.

Breakfast was excellent. We arrived quite late. The kitchen had shut early, but we’re asked to re open so we could eat. We were really grateful for this, as we’d had a long journey.
