the single bed creaked on every move so a bit of a noisy night with my mum turning over constantly, the sheets and towels had stains but I appreciate they can't be replaced every time this happens.

Room numbers were changed last minute and there was a delay in providing codes for the key safes. I had to chase for these details several times.

Location was perfect for an event we attended in Findon. Room was clean, comfortable and cosy.

Toilet cistern sticks and continued to flush until we manually stopped it. One of the towels had holes in it.

Bit dirty in places, bits of crisps & stickyness on top of cupboard unit, dirty food stained A4 laminated no smoking sign loose on top of unit, debris all along window sill, vanity mirror grubby finger marked, broken curtain rail support, ironing board but no iron, no fridge, felt like everything needed a good wipe down with antibacterial spray, early checkout 10am

We were on the ground floor- when upstairs is occupied you can hear them waking/talking.

No issues. Exactly what I expected it was good value for money. Was shocked when I was told I needed to pay a deposit but actually I didn't do all good.

Very accommodating staff. Location perfect. Great for an overnight. We were happy.

Very cold always until heating kicks in. No microwave in one bedroom which was quite cramped to get around bed but big bathroom ,though no dressing table. WiFi is difficult to get… x

The tranquility and modern rooms

Road and neighbouring rooms could be quite noisy with the thin walls. The limited heating also struggles to keep out the cold. Probably reflected in the price, to be fair.

Decent sized room which was clean, well decorated, and well maintained. Expected something far more basic with a "motel" feel, but was much better.

Bathroom in dire need of some tlc! Also a very strong odour of cigarette smoke (possibly from adjoining room) which filtered into bedroom every time door was opened.

Findon to Worthing is an easy commute but expect to double your drive time during peak times.

My son and I have stayed here several times but this was our first stay in room 11 which was very spacious.

All bases for us covered. Few repairs to room required but we were happy with all for price. We have a relative in local hospital to perfect for our needs and have passed on details for other family members travelling down to visit

It could do with a bit of a fix up in places. The hearing was a bit hit and miss, one minute the room was warm and then freezing cold. The window by the double bed had a draft coming in.

Room was cold when I got in there took a while to heat up . Think the owners would benefit having inferred panels heaters as they are cheep to run and get heat quickly .

Was in a smaller room this time than the last time I stayed . The room was clean tidy . There are two pubs down the road that do amazing food only two minutes to walk . Also a little shop close bye . Kettle tea and coffee in the room handy to make a pot noodle as well added bonus. 2nd time I have stayed .

I’m reluctant to call the Findon Rest ‘cheap and cheerful’ because it sounds a little demeaning, but it was wonderful place. The bed was fantastic. nice and clean and well placed. highly recommended.

Bed not very comfortable, hairdryer smoked and was then turned off, bedside lamp had dodgy wiring as it kept going off and on - turned off and used mobile phone torch.
