Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location was good. In a village within 1 minute of Public house and restaurant. Very convenient, no booking in at reception etc, key in coded locker.

Couldn’t get heating to work. Safe outside supposed to be locked with key in as we were provided with a code. On arrival safe was open and key was in door.
Perfect location for what we required. Room was clean and tidy.

Decor very tired, bed inaccessible from both side,everything cramped as if it were for 1 person not 2. Trailing wires and extension leads, cracks in paintwork and plaster,toilet lid had a mind of its own especially for gentlmen!. Dripping tape in bathroom and door didn't shut properly. Wooden steps to accommodation very slippery and parking for larger cars very difficult.
Location suited our purpose and bed was comfy.

Decor a little tired in places and small areas of damp/mould in bathroom could do with addressing.

I would not say I did not like it but the TV was a bit of a problem, and I spoke to Lucy who said there was a problem which I found a very honest statement, it was a nice big new TV but to be honest it was not really a big problem, it certainly did not ruin our stay and we will stay again
The bed was very very comfy which kept the Mrs Happy, the location was a dream very peaceful the locals seemed very nice and polite and welcoming, the local Pub the Village house, Coaching inn was very welcoming

.I thought we were in Worthing as the address is advertised as Worthing and we were about 25 minute drive from the coast.

The hot water cut out and although supposed to be out by 10am the issue wasn’t sorted until late. But no issue at all!
It’s beautiful here and so quiet. Lovely little place for a getaway. The room was so comfortable and really cute. Owners were good too.

Set in a beautiful village. Very clean and tidy rooms. would recommend highly to others. The pubs in the area serve lovely meal. and the little shop in the village is well worth a visit

We stayed here about a month ago and found it good so decided on return visit to brighton to stay here again . Excellent value for money. There was a heat wave on and the room was hot when we arrived but they had opened the window beforehand, there is only one window to open so still a bit warm, maybe closing the blind on the window the opposite side would help to keep bit cooler, however there is a ceiling fan which was great during the night. The toilet seat was loose but did not bother us. Used shower and it is really quite powerful which surprised me. Clean, tidy, very comfortable and quiet at night which i love.

the only thing was that in the description it says it was all on one level when there was a large steep step to get into property and 2 big steps inside to double bed. which my disabled mother couldn’t get up or down without extreme difficulty

The only down side was the towels I had had staines on.
Host were exceptional, Perfect room and bathroom size, bed was very comfy! Great to have the iron and microwave in the room as comes handy to have.

This was a very comfortable and access friendly accommodation. My mother has mobility problems and the ground floor room with parking just outside was very convenient. In a lovely spot in the village of Findon. We very much enjoyed our stay.

There is limited parking, the 4 spaces out the front were already taken when we arrived late afternoon, so we needed to park along a narrow side street, that may have been a coincidence on the day. (but worth considering if you drive a larger vehicle)
The room was as expected, the pictures are an accurate reflection of the accommodation. There was everything you need for a short stay. The local pubs were handy, friendly and welcoming with a varied menu.
