Hostess was very welcoming and worked very hard. Breakfast was good. We had dinner three nights out of the four we were staying which is an indicator of how much we enjoyed the Fox and Goat

Nice pub near Oxford with a great connection to the city. A bus station is just across the street. Very good dinner options and typical English breakfast. Dog friendly environment with a park very close by. Extremely nice host! Very clean rooms in good condition in an adjacent building. Comfy beds and everything you need.

Bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. Mattress was one of those where you both end up squashed in the middle from rolling to the centre.

Quite pricey

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. It was clean and the free WiFi was excellent. Stand out is the bathroom. There’s loads of parking around the side and more at the rear

The room wasn’t serviced during our two night stay.

The food was good and the accommodation comfortable. My room was a bit noisy as it was above the pub and also very close to a busy road.

An extra chair in the bedroom would have been handy. There was only one stool. Poor quality toilet paper - but I’m being picky now!

Very well presented and stylish decor in the pub. Very comfortable dining room with well spaced out tables. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

The bed was very soft so you felt as if rolling into the middle. Next to a busy road which you could hear but not too badly.

Fantastic staff couldnt be more welcoming and helpful. The food at the pub was wonderful and of a high standard. Room was very clean and well presented.

Beds were a bit wobbly but maybe it is because we are both tall people (we had issues with beds in whole UK, being me 176 cm and my partner 193 cm tall).

The staff was so welcoming and nice, room was big, clean and tidy. Super dog friendly. Pub was great, I am vegetarian with very bad lactose intolerance (cannot have anything with milk). There was nothing on menu for me but the lovely staff figured out a food for me and it was the best thing. We are just sorry that we didnt have any pounds left on us as we were leaving the country next morning. These people deserve all the money!

Bedroom facing busy road, which was noisy. Small window that partially opened so very little ventilation on a warm evening.

A chair in the room would be a bonus rather than having to sit on the bed or the stool.

The Oxford Road is a little busy as is Oxford but this is to be expected given it is a Historical University City.

Every member of staff did their utmost to ensure our stay was enjoyable despite it being a very busy weekend. The meals we had were well prepared and presented, the braised Ox Cheek was delicious and the Sunday Roast absolutely perfect. Our dog Flora was also welcome to join us in the bar area for both breakfast and dinner.

Being told I would have to pay full price for the larger breakfast rather than a difference of just £4.00 to the one I was entitled to as part of my b&b stay. Seems rather petty. Perhaps they should say this in the information, or rethink their policy.

Breakfast was nice but only a full English option included in our stay, would be good to have more variety included in the price.

Location was great for our stay. We had dinner twice and both meals were fantastic, highly recommend.
