Wonderful B&B. Ali was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had homemade cake and coffee on arrival, which we enjoyed on the "guest decking". The bed was very comfortable. Our continental breakfast was the best we have ever had in a B&B. Very tasty and well presented. And we were able to enjoy it in the room, which for me was a bonus. Thanks Ali for a lovely overnight stay.

The whole experience of staying at Glen View was relaxing and re energising. We were spoilt by Ali and appreciated her extra touch to our stay. From arriving to cake, lovely bed, beautiful scenery and finally a yummy breakfast. Both Pete and Ali were beyond welcoming ♥️

both my Wife and I absolutely loved stopping at this B&B. A very warm welcome from Alison from the start. very good communication. a lovely B&B set back from the main road. very quite, over looks a lovely countryside view. private side annex with own keys. modern and very clean. all the added bonuses of fresh complementary cake, chocolate and biscuits. Breakfast served to your room. Good quality full english breakfast. bed itself was very comfortable. we both had a comfortable stay. thank you for hosting us Alison. We will be looking forwards to coming back in the future.

Beautiful place, Ali was an amazing host. Just .9 walk into Whitby itself. Room was immaculate. Own entrance, own shower / bathroom. Breakfast served to you in room (as not a mass bnb- which is a good thing). We stayed just 1 night, def back again. 100% recommend.

The B&B was exceptional, very clean,ali and Pete went above and beyond for us, nothing was to much trouble, even left treats for us, gave us good knowledge were to visit, the bed, wow best sleep in a long time, will definitely be going back, and will recommend 😀 loved our stay x 10/10

Was a bit unsure where to park when we got there, that’s all. There is a Glen View B&B sign, but didn’t realise it would be just one of the houses, all ended up okay though :)

Great location, so peaceful and charming, super comfortable bed, great pillows, hot and roomy shower, fresh milk with tea, cushions and blankets provided ready on the side when sitting on the patio and it gets a bit chilly, lovely breakfast, and the most wonderfully warm host.

Absolutely beautiful. It is such a little gem in the countryside - I recommend anyone who is thinking of a seaside stay take up the opportunity to take a weekend break here. Whitby is only a 3 25 to 30 minute walk with beautiful views. Such a treat.

the breakfast was well cooked and tasty and served in private from ali probably the perfect host she even bakes is there nothing this lady cannot do varandah outside your room ali will even chill your wine for you and probably help you to drink it to please dont all book at once as i would like to return but would get injured in the crush

Ali and Pete are the most wonderful hosts ever! The room is beautiful, clean and calming with a private terrace and entrance, with gorgeous views of the countryside. A five minute drive from the town center, it made for a great base to explore Whitby. The breakfast itself was absolutely scrumptious and so fresh! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and memorable stay. I loved all the personal and thoughtful touches, and would return just for the homemade lemon drizzle cakes! Highly recommend the Glen View B&B :)
