United KingdomI booked this hotel for a work stay for 1 night and the morning of checking out I realised my shower didn’t work as I had used the gym one the night before. the only response I got from the reception staff was that they would get maintenance to fix it for the next guest and there was nothing they could do to help me. the gym was very basic and the jacuzzi and spa area was lukewarm at best with regular uses of the gym saying it had been like this for months. I had dinner at the restaurant which is overpriced with a salad costing nearly £20 when I asked for halloumi to be added which I regretted as it was bone dry and had been cooked hours earlier.

United KingdomThe venue was unbelievably noisy overnight into the small hours, even with white noise my partner got barely any sleep. After the noise across the road stopped, further party noise came from just outside our window. The bed was so poorly made that I had to shake out the duvet to staighten the duvet cover which flicked out a toenail from the previous occupant onto my partner! Disgusting! The door handle to our en suite was broken The car park was awful to navigate and there was barely any space for guests as people from the ski school were parking at the hotel.

United KingdomBut housekeeping need to be questioned in failure. Sat night eat in the expensive restaurant, but the service was poor, no order, short staffed crossing over and not completing orders and caused customers to question why pay £15.90 for a chicken burger with a slice of bacon while burger king will do the same if not more food on the plate for less and have the service to go with it. The heating in the hotel was over the top, so hot became a problem sleeping , turned off the room heating, but the ill fitting door with a 1 inch gap at the bottom, to the room allowed heat off the corridor into the room as well as the light making sleeping a problem. One last thing, the selling of watches and other good in the Bar by staff and after experiencing the restaurant and its prices, seeing other hotel guests coming into the hotel with food from an Indian takeaway and eating it in the bar area, think lowered my experience even more. Otherwise would say ok stay, but will not be reusing this hotel if in the area again

United KingdomWe had a great stay but were slightly frustrated to only have one key card available per room (including triple occupancy), which was also needed to put lights on. We also waited over an hour for dessert in the bar. it’s a shame that these minor, avoidable niggles took the shine off an otherwise wonderful stay.
The rooms were lovely (especially the exceptionally spacious Junior Suite) and the beds were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the swimming pool was really good to, with a relaxed bar also a highlight.

United KingdomOn our arrival Hotel did not tell me they were taking an extra £50 for charges that may occur on my stay, so instead of £98.10 taken on arrival £148.10 was.. sorry but not being told this left myself short plus is fraud, we were 3 people in a double room not a family room as booked, single bed placed next to a boiling hot radiator, room was dusty, plus the bedding on the double bed was a mattress topper not a duvet so very small for 2 people to sleep under...

United Kingdom*Despite the children's pool times, there were a number of people swimming lengths and visibly annoyed by us trying to teach our son to swim in the pool. With getting changed, it was tough given the facilities so we ended up getting wrapped in towels and then just running back to our room. For a suite, I was disappointed with the quality of the room. Yes, it was relatively cheap, but I was expecting something better given that we were celebrating my wife's birthday. It was two bog-standard rooms which were basically interconnected. Parking was a nightmare. We had an infant with us and had to park around the back of the hotel (miles from the entrance). Fortunately, I went out later on and moved it to a more reasonable distance. I believe the car park may be used by a few different outlets (possibly the snow centre opposite?) which may have been the issue.
We used the pool twice during our stay and it was good to have children's pool times*. We also booked a suite and this was basically two rooms put together so there was lots of space. Breakfast was nice and wasn't too busy.
